The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Special Edition is coming to a new market in blind-box form

OnePlus launched the Cyberpunk 2077 version of its 8T to wide acclaim, as the effort to theme this re-styled flagship after the game (or what is currently known about it, rather) is abundantly clear in its looks and packaging. Therefore, it may have disappointed many fans worldwide when this new edition was released as a Chinese-market exclusive.

Now, however, the OEM has announced that it is coming to one more country in December 2020, at least. Its Malaysian division has posted details of a Cyberpunk Mystery Box through which the phone is available to some lucky shoppers.

There will be 1000 of the bliind boxes in question, 10 of which will contain a Special Edition 8T. Therefore, there is a 1 in 100 chance of getting the phone in this package, which will be priced at 49 Malaysian ringgit (MYR, or ~US$12) each on OnePlus' Lazada Store.

Similar odds apply to the chance of getting either a pair of OnePlus Buds; a Warp Charge 65 power brick; a branded type C to C cable for the same, or a pair of type C wired earphones in one of these boxes. However, all of them will pack a 50 MYR voucher for Lazada, so the buyer will get their money's worth in any case, at least.
