Plenty of details have already leaked about the OnePlus 9 5G, which is due to be one of three smartphones that OnePlus releases early next year. Renders and information about the OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9E have also appeared online in the last few months, as we have covered.
Now, camera details of the regular OnePlus 9 5G have been published. A hint of the cameras in the OnePlus 9 5G appeared courtesy of PhoneArena over a week ago, but they did not reveal the full specifications of the three lenses. According to a now-deleted post on /LEAKS, the primary camera on the OnePlus 9 5G will be a 50 MP Ultra Vision Camera with an f/1.9 aperture. OnePlus will apparently complement this 50 MP sensor with a 20 MP Cine Camera (f/1.8) that will handle ultra-wide-angle shots. Additionally, there will be a 12 MP telephoto camera with OIS, autofocus and an f/3.4 aperture.
There is no word yet on the details of the front-facing camera, but hands-on photos have confirmed that there will be only one lens intersecting the display. Nonetheless, the rear-facing cameras of the OnePlus 9 5G should represent a significant from those that OnePlus included in the OnePlus 8T. The OnePlus 9 5G is expected to be one of the first smartphones with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 888 and will likely ship with a minimum of 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Previous leaks have suggested that the OnePlus 9 5G will have a 6.55-inch and 1080p display capable of a peak refresh rate of 120 Hz, too.
