In our review of the Nord N10 5G, we discovered many positive aspects. The N10 5G comes with Qualcomm’s X51 Modem RF system, supports dual SIM functionality, has great battery life, fast Wi-Fi, an accurate GNSS module and plenty of UFS storage. Moreover, it is also well-built.
However, the Nord N10 5G is not perfect. Even though the mid-range smartphone costs only 349 Euros (~$422), there are still things, which could have been done better. These become especially apparent when the N10 5G is compared to the slightly more expensive Nord. The relatively dim, contrast-poor liquid-crystal display, the plastic back and the poor quad-camera system are the weak spots that the Nord N10 5G revealed in our review.
The new Snapdragon 690 SoC in the 350-Euro (~$424) smartphone is not particularly impressive as well. Thanks to the 8-nm LPP manufacturing process, it is more energy-efficient and powerful than its direct predecessor. However, the competing devices with the Snapdragon 765G achieve better results in our suite of benchmarks. The Adreno 619L also cannot keep up with the Adreno 620. Here, the Nord N10 5G is about 30 % slower in graphically demanding applications.
