OnePlus has finalised the model numbers of the OnePlus 9 series, but there will be no OnePlus 9 Ultra. Instead, OnePlus will be releasing just the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro.

OnePlus is thought to be moving onto the OnePlus 9 series in 2021, but not with three devices as we had previously discussed. According to TechDroider, the OnePlus 9 series will line up as follows:

OnePlus 9

  • LE2110
  • LE2117
  • LE2119

OnePlus 9 Pro

  • LE2120
  • LE2127

So, there will be no OnePlus 9 Ultra, to which OnePlus was believed to have assigned the model number LE2127. Typically, these model numbers denote regional variants, but they may not be the only ones that OnePlus currently has in development.

This year, OnePlus released four model numbers of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro split across China, Europe and Asia, India and North America. Similarly, there are only two model numbers of the OnePlus Nord - one for India and another for Europe.

OnePlus is expected to unveil the OnePlus 9 series in March 2021. 91Mobiles claims to have received a CAD render of the OnePlus 9 too, which you can read more about here.
