AnTuTu’s price-performance charts for December make for good reading for Xiaomi. The new Mi 11 tops the most-expensive smartphone table while sub-brand Redmi has the top spot in the three cheapest charts. However, the Realme X50 Pro 5G prevents Xiaomi from commanding all five charts by heading up the 3,000-4,499 yuan list.

AnTuTu has published its five price-performance tables for December and as is often the case Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones can be found almost ubiquitously dotting the charts. Although Xiaomi couldn’t quite manage a clean sweep of all five charts thanks to interference from the Realme X50 Pro 5G, the Chinese company still managed to have 13 devices find a place in the tables. In fact, at least one representative from Xiaomi or Redmi can be found in all five charts. The current top dogs in each price segment are:

  • 0-1,499 yuan (US$0–US$231): Redmi 10X 5G 6 GB + 128 GB
  • 1,500–1,999 yuan (US$231–US$309): Redmi K30 Ultra 6 GB + 128 GB
  • 2,000–2,999 yuan (US$309–US$463): Redmi K30S Ultra 8 GB + 128 GB
  • 3,000–4,499 yuan (US$463–US$695): Realme X50 Pro 5G 12 GB + 256 GB
  • 4,500 yuan+ (US$695+): Xiaomi Mi 11 12 GB + 256 GB

Redmi is unsurprisingly especially strong in the cheapest table, with three representatives present, including the venerable Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone in second position. There are three more Redmi devices in the next table, and in the middle chart there are two Redmi smartphones joined by a Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition. In the chart headed by the Realme X50 Pro 5G, there is a sole Xiaomi smartphone in the form of the Mi 10 clinging on in 10th place.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 has taken the smartphone world by storm, as was expected, and it now occupies the top spot in the 4,500 yuan+ table. The new Mi 11 has put quite a bit of distance between it and the runner-up iQOO 5 Pro due to the incredible combination of high-end components and a price that is practically at a premium mid-range level. Boasting of a Snapdragon 888, 120 Hz AMOLED, 108 MP main lens, and MIUI 12.5/Android 11, the Mi 11 has been raking in billions of yuan for Xiaomi since its recent launch, with the base variant costing 3,999 yuan (US$618) and the 12 GB + 256 GB model costing 4,699 yuan (US$726).
