Raspberry Pi has launched a case fan for its popular Raspberry Pi 4 single-board computer. The new fan kit works with the official Raspberry Pi case accessory and giving current and future owners an upgrade path should they choose to get into more intensive processing tasks.

Boardcon has announced the EMH6, its new single-board computer. The Boardcon EMH6 is based on the Allwinner H6 chipset, 1 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 8 GB of eMMC flash storage. The machine has loads of I/O too, although its OS support is somewhat lacking.

In addition to the updated Dagor Engine, which has reached version 6.0, War Thunder 2.1 "New Power" comes with the first battleships, vertical take-off aircraft, AI-controlled aircraft carriers, and more. The game is ready to run on 4K and 60 fps with improved graphics on the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

The Pantera Pico PC is like many mini-PCs but with a twist. Not only will the device feature four USB Type-A ports, but it will support an optional media dock. The Pantera Pico PC will start at US$129 when it comes to Indiegogo next month and is powered by the popular Intel Celeron J4125 processor.

Canonical has brought Ubuntu Desktop to the Raspberry Pi. The humble single-board computer can now be pre-loaded with Ubuntu 20.10, albeit only on the Raspberry Pi 4.

A new update to the Radeon Open Compute (ROCm) firmware details some key specs for Big Navi, codenamed Sienna Cichlid, and Navy Flounder. These include the number of Compute Units (CUs) and the memory bandwidth of the two new GPUs from AMD.

HP has unveiled the latest version of its ThinPro OS for enterprise devices. ThinPro 7.2 has a locked file system and SecureBoot signing for added security. Nearby Share is Google's long-awaited answer to AirDrop, and may formally debut as part of Android 11. However, XDA contributors have found evidence that it may work with other operating systems, so long as they run Chrome. Pine64 has launched a new PinePhone model that comes with a Convergence Package. The device modestly powered device runs an Alpine Linux-based PostmarketOS that has built-in smartphone and desktop modes.

Hardkernel has released its latest single-board computer (SBC), the ODROID-N2 Plus. Equipped with a new Amlogic S922X processor and up to 4 GB of RAM, Hardkernel claims that the ODROID-N2 Plus can offer twice the performance of a Raspberry Pi 4. The SBC is overclockable, too.

FriendlyARM has now made the NanoPi NEO3 available to purchase. Starting at US$20.00, the NanoPi NEO3 comes with up to 2 GB of DDR4 RAM and is based on the Rockchip's RK3328 quad-core ARM chipset. Initial benchmarks of the Huawei Kunpeng 920 ARM processor in a desktop PC do not seem to paint a rosy picture. This particular PC was powered by an 8C/8T Kunpeng 920 soldered onto a Huawei motherboard and running custom Chinese Linux distro called UOS. The Kunpeng 920 was originally designed with server applications in mind, and it looks to be an indication of China's ongoing efforts to reduce reliance on major CPU players such as Intel and AMD.

Purism is back with its latest privacy focused Linux-based laptop. The latest device in its range is the Librem 14 which effectively crams in a larger display into a similar footprint to its Librem 13 model.

Backers of the Atari VCS have had to endure repeated delays, but there looks to be light at the end of the tunnel. The team behind the console has announced that they will have an initial run of 500 units ready for a June launch, with more units expected to ship thereafter.
