OnePlus has finally announced pricing for the "Winter Bonfire" version of its inaugural mechanical keyboard. The OEM asserts that the 81 Pro will revolutionize its market with custom double-shot key-caps and "three-segment" switches. It is available to purchase across multiple markets, in one of which the company's old invite system is resurrected.

OnePlus is now openly coming for RedMagic by being an OEM known for smartphones that has nonetheless broken into the PC accessory market. Then again, the Nubia brand targets a gamer demographic, whereas the BBK Electronics subsidiary seems content to go after "optimized" typing enthusiasts in general.

To that end, the Keyboard 81 Pro has apparently been "created with our community" in a way touted to result in heavily customization for many aspects of the new mechanical accessory, its rear-mounted physical connection status slider and handle/stand included.

However, despite the announcement of its release, only the Winter Bonfire (or "optimized tactile switch") version of this 81-key mechanical keyboard is currently available to order, with the "linear" Summer Breeze alternative (the only one with the OEM's own "Marble-mallow" keycap type) to arrive later.

The variants are priced at US$219/€249/INR 17,999 and US$239/269/INR 19,999 respectively. The Keyboard 81 Pro in Winter Bonfire can be ordered directly via OnePlus in the US and Europe; however, prospective buyers in India will have to procure one of the OEM's notorious invites to do so beforehand. They are slated to become available in the course of some promotional campaigns soon.
