JLab Epic Wireless Keyboard debuts with "flexible" multi-device connectivity
JLab is an OEM that might be best known for its audio accessories - nevertheless, the latest addition to its higher-end Epic line is a wireless keyboard. The new peripheral has a full (108-key) layout rich in space for things like arrow keys and a number-pad with a "metal base" and "sleek finishes", although it is more Logitech MX-series than G-series in looks, function and type.
To that end, its deck is made of "soft-touch" caps without mention of a mechanical nature, although that makes it low-profile, compact and "quiet", according to JLab, at least. Nevertheless, the Epic Wireless' keys are also described as "full-depth", and are also backlit with an "ergonomic" shape.
The keyboard is also equipped with a JLab-branded "media knob" for quick access to things such as volume adjustments, also finished in metal for "heavy-duty durability". The dial might also help the user stay mouse-free for longer.
The new Wireless Keyboard has dual Bluetooth 5.2 connections in addition to its own USB dongle, which allows it to switch between 3 different devices, so that it might fit into more on-the-go aspects of a user's life as well as those of an in-place nature.
JLab's new remote work-friendly product has a 2,000mAh battery rated to last up to 6 months under some conditions, and can re-charge via the USB type-C to -A cable also found in the box. The Epic Wireless Keyboard has been listed on Amazon or jlab.com with US or UK pricing of US$69 or £69.99 thus far.
