AZIO's IZO Collection wireless keyboard set is making waves on Kickstarter
AZIO Corporation fans who missed the launch of the Kickstarter funding campaign for the IZO Collection set still have over two weeks at their disposal to take advantage of the early bird pricing for the individual items or the entire kit. With two weeks left, the AZIO IZO Collection has already raised over US$65,000, up from a rather modest goal of just US$10,000.
Without further ado, these are the components of the aforementioned wireless keyboard set:
- Bluetooth & USB IZO keyboard
- Bluetooth & USB IZO number pad
- Palm rest & desk pad with memory foam
- Bluetooth IZO mouse
- IZO mouse pad
The hardware in the set is compatible with both Macs and PCs, but the lack of a black color option might keep some potential buyers away for the time being. The three color choices are Baroque Rose, Blue Iris, and White Blossom. The keyboard features clicky Gateron-Blue mechanical switches, a dual control knob, 21 backlight modes, and a 5,000 mAh battery that can go on for up to a year on a single charge, depending on usage and without activating the backlight. Both the mouse and numeric pad feature 1,000 mAh batteries.
Early backers should get their items starting in August. The MSRP of the keyboard is US$139.99, the number pad will be available for US$69.99, the mouse will retail for US$49.99, and the mouse pad and palm rest will be priced at US$19.99 each. Early adopters can still get at least a 40 percent discount until the available stock runs out.
