Samsung has upgraded its top tablets, namely its Galaxy Tab S9 series, which comes in three sizes. The 11-inch screen of the regular Galaxy Tab S9 comes in OLED for the first time and impresses with blazing-fast system performance.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy's Adreno GPU managed to outperform the Exynos 2400's Xclipse 940 in Geekbench's Vulkan and OpenCL benchmarks.

The Exynos 2400 scores 2,067 and 6,520 in Geekbench 6.2's single and multi-core tests. It debuted alongside a European Galaxy S24+ variant with 8 GB of RAM.

The US variant of the Galaxy S24 Ultra scores 2,234 and 6,870 points in Geekbench's single and multi-core tests. The smartphone features 8 GB of RAM and runs Android 14.

The Galaxy Z Fold5 is now available at a US$400 discount as part of Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days discount. The promotion applies to Samsung's latest foldable in Cream and Icy Blue colourways, both with 256 GB of storage.

The 2025-bound Exynos 2500 will feature only one Cortex-X5 core instead of the four rumoured earlier. The remaining will be replaced with Cortex-A730 cores in a 1+3+2+4 layout.

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S23 FE, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen or Exynos 2200 depending on regional models. It appears, however, that this Exynos 2200 on the S23 FE outperforms the Exynos 2200 on last year's Galaxy S22 lineup.

Samsung has quietly released the Galaxy Tab A9 in select markets, with a rumoured wider release slated within the next few weeks. According to a new report from a typically reliable source, Samsung is finally closing in on releasing its next Fan Edition-branded tablets. Due as the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus, the pair will have waterproof metal housings, expandable storage and more vibrant colour options than their flagship Galaxy Tab S9 series counterparts.

The upcoming Galaxy S24 series of smartphones is Samsung’s follow-up to the Galaxy S23 devices. Rumored to pack custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, camera updates, and 25 W to 45 W charging, the Galaxy S24 phones are now reported to be launching earlier in January in response to the robust sales of the iPhone 15.

More details about the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE have turned up online ahead of its official release. Reportedly launching for under US$100, the Galaxy Buds FE is rumoured to have 12 mm drivers, touch controls and AKG tunings, among other features.

Samsung has presented the W24 and W24 Flip, both higher-end alternatives to the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5. Not only has Samsung equipped the W24 series with more RAM and storage than their Galaxy Z counterparts, but they also have more robust ceramic back panels to boot.

The Galaxy Z Fold5 Thom Browne Edition has now arrived, debuting first in Samsung's home market of South Korea. Available from September 12, the Galaxy Z Fold5 Thom Browne Edition will ship with various accessories, including a customised Galaxy Watch6.

The Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic are finally eligible for One UI 5 Watch, Samsung's spin-off of Wear OS 4. Arriving as HWH3 for both devices, One UI 5 Watch introduces various changes for the Galaxy Watch4 series and is available to download now.

Samsung ships the Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic with new quick-release watch bands. While the watch bands are fundamentally the same as those that Samsung includes with the Galaxy Watch5 series, Galaxy Watch6 owners are now reporting problems with the new connector.

The Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro are some of the first smartwatches that support 'Watch Unlock', a long-awaited feature that Google originally debuted with Wear OS 3 as Smart Lock. While the feature is not live yet, it has already reached Galaxy Watch5 series models that have been updated to One UI 5 Watch and Wear OS 4.

European pricing for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series has surfaced online, at least a month before its official release. Reportedly arriving in Q4 2023 as the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus, the series is rumoured to start at €549.99 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

According to a usually reliable leaker, Samsung has elected to equip the Galaxy S24 Ultra with not only an improved telephoto camera, but also a refined primary camera. While next year's Ultra will retain a 200 MP sensor, it should be an optimised version of the ISOCELL HP2 found in the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Samsung is now distributing One UI 5 Watch to the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro. Rolling out with build numbers ending in BWH3, the update brings Wear OS 4 to the Galaxy Watch5 series with various performance improvements and new features.
