Iterative improvement. The GS73VR walks a delicate line between power and portability by packing NVIDIA's Pascal GPUs into a thin chassis late last summer. Ample performance! Lenovo plants a very strong CPU combined with a dedicated GPU into a 14-inch business laptop. This combination, which Lenovo already presented last year, is slightly unusual. Super sleek for cheap. Imagine the XPS 15 9560 stripped down to ULV configuration levels at half the starting price and you get the new VivoBook S15 S510 series. While this sounds good on paper, chassis quality leaves a lot to be desired.

Fujitsu was one of the last few manufacturers whose convertibles were still equipped with the older rotating hinges, and the Lifebook P727 is Fujitsu's first convertible with real 360° hinges that is supposed to lure over a few Dell, HP, and Lenovo customers. Made for gaming. Acer’s current 17-inch series, known as Nitro, has received a CPU and GPU performance upgrade. The V17 Nitro thus performs very well while at the same time being moderately quiet. Small and strong. Dell has created a significantly lighter chassis now that the aging E-Port is becoming a thing of the past. The lack of Thunderbolt 3, however, severely limits the docking capabilities of this latest Latitude redesign.
