Lenovo is updating its well-known line of X1 ThinkPad laptops. The 14 inch models ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 and ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 7 build upon existing designs - the new releases include OLED screen options, a 1080p webcam and Intel Alder-Lake U15 or P28.

HP has launched the Elite x360 1040 G9 convertible in addition to the EliteBook 1040 G9. The Elite x360 1040 G9 is powered by Intel 12th gen Alder Lake vPro processors and are certified to meet Intel Evo standards. The laptop comes with the usual suite of HP security suites and also offers optional 4G LTE or 5G WWAN connectivity.

The HP EliteBook Dragonfly G3 is now available with 12th-generation Intel Alder Lake processors, 32GB of RAM, 2TB NVMe SSD, a 13.2-inch 3000 x 2000) OLED panel and two Thunderbolt 4.0 ports. HP says it will reveal the laptop's price close to its March 2022 sale date.

HP is introducing a convertible ProBook featuring AMD's new Barcelo-U APUs at CES 2022. The Pro x360 435 G9 is a 13.3-inch convertible that is available with the latest 15 W Ryzen APUs in Pro and non-Pro variants. The Pro x360 435 G9 also integrates HP Wolf Security for Business for easy IT administration in hybrid work environments.

The optional ROG XG Mobile GeForce RTX 3080 isn't included with the sale, but the internal laptop specifications will be more than sufficient especially when compared to 99 percent of other 13-inch alternatives you can buy.

Asus' ROG Global Twitter account has just released a CES 2022 teaser for what looks very like the long-awaited Flow Z13. This new device is touted to put a gaming twist on the convertible tablet form-factor. Judging by the design newly teased in its launch announcement, it seems this is very much the case for the first-gen device.

Huawei has teased a new version of its MateBook E with strong overtones of the device being a Surface 8 Pro competitor on its launch. This may have been further underpinned by the reported release of a new app specifically for its new detachable keyboard dock onto the Chinese version of the Microsoft Store.

Hardware specs are still a mystery, but the teaser image reveals that the new MateBook E features an improved display with narrower bezels and rounded screen corners, plus a fingerprint sensor on the back. A detachable keyboard along with a stylus and a mouse also appear to be included.

With a Ryzen 3 APU, 8 GB of working memory in dual-channel mode, and an NVMe SSD, Acer's 2-in-1 device is equipped for office and Internet operation. The touchscreen can not only be operated with the fingers but also with an active input pen.

The reduced price will be valid only during launch before bouncing back up to around $500 USD. The thin and attractive modern chassis design will be balanced by an older and slower passively-cooled Intel Core m7 CPU.

ASUS has unveiled the Vivobook 13 Slate, or Vivobook 13 Slate OLED (T3300) as the company calls it. The 2-in-1 supports pen input, has a detachable keyboard and decent connectivity. ASUS has included an OLED display too, but the device is powered by an Intel Pentium Silver N6000, along with a minimum of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of eMMC flash storage.

The new Flip CX3400 retains the slick look and fanless design from the CX5400 model, and offers the same selection of Intel Tiger Lake-U processors. On the other hand, it does not feature Thunderbolt ports, comes with a slightly dimmer screen and RAM configurations start from 4 GB.

Evan Blass has leaked the ROG Flow Z13, ASUS' latest take on the Surface Pro form factor. The 2-in-1 has a USB Type-A port, a 13-inch display and what looks like an SD card reader. The compact device seems destined to launch on November 3 at ASUS' 'wow the world' hardware event.

Acer's latest Chrome OS devices have arrived with 14- or 15-inch FHD displays, each with up-to-date processors and features. Now, it has revealed some potentially crucial internal specs for this upcoming convertible. It will have a Ryzen 5000 platform with NVIDIA RTX 3000-series graphics.

Lenovo is currently hinting that a machine called the Yoga 16s will launch sometime soon, in China at the least. Now, the OEM has hyped this PC again with some tantalizing new display details. They emphasize the laptop's relatively high brightness and refresh rate, along with support for HDR and touch controls.

This super-cheap convertible can work well as a starter Chromebook for grade schoolers or as a backup remote client when traveling. It supports most apps from the Google Play Store as well.

Users will get a 60 to 90 percent boost in graphics performance between the two models, but there's a huge catch. If you don't need the GPU power, then the physically identical and steadier older model will be more than enough.

The Amazon listing just went live today, but it is currently showing an incorrect native resolution and aspect ratio of 2880 x 1920 and 4:3 for the KUU LeBook. The price includes both the keyboard and tablet whereas the Microsoft Surface will often charge extra for such accessories.

We're not sure if a different processor and color are enough to justify a completely different model name between the two visually identical models. For shoppers, this can be more confusing than it needs to be when researching laptops before purchasing.

The schematics posted a few days ago teased the modular port design, and the new renders now reveal that the Pocket 3 is actually a 2-in-1 laptop that includes a stylus. GPD's tweets are also suggesting that the Pocket 3 will come with Intel and AMD processor options.

Brydge is a well-known name in third-party keyboard docks for high-end tablets. As such, one of its latest products is for the freshly-launched Surface Pro 8. Alternatively, the new Stone Pro TB4 is compatible with it and any other device with at least 1 Thunderbolt 4 port.
