Chuwi MiniBook X: 10.8-inch convertible laptop revealed with a 2K display, a punch-hole camera and a Celeron N5100 processor
Earlier this month, Chuwi announced the FreeBook, a 13.5-inch convertible laptop powered by an Intel Jasper Lake processor. Chuwi has now started selling the laptop, as we have discussed separately. However, it has also unveiled the MiniBook X, another convertible laptop.
The MiniBook X is, as its name suggests, a smaller alternative to the FreeBook. Chuwi has equipped it with a 10.8-inch display, a hole-punch for a front-facing camera, a 2K native resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The display also supports pen input and appears to have relatively thin bezels.
Additionally, the MiniBook X relies on a Celeron N5100 processor, 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a 512 GB SSD. Chuwi adds that the MiniBook X has a USB Type-C port that can charge the device at up to 45 W and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Chuwi has not stated when it will begin selling the MiniBook X. It has confirmed that the device will retail for US$599, although that price may not include an active stylus.
