Asus wins the title of Taiwan's Most Valuable International Brand for 2021
Taiwan is home to some of the names most likely to spring to mind at speed in the tech sphere, Acer, Gigabyte and of course TSMC included. However, the latest Interbrand Best Taiwan Global Brands survey has once again turned up Asus as the most valuable among them in 2021.
The OEM has attained a total brand value of US$1.871 billion (a year-on-year growth of 23%), according to the yearly assessment. Quite apart from being one of the most prominent companies in the PC space, Asus has been awarded Interbrand's "prestigious" title this year for its ability to share and distribute its "wisdom" across its various lines and corporate divisions.
This practice has, for example, allowed the OEM to port the innovative Duo form-factor from the ZenBook series to that of its Republic of Gamers (ROG) Zephyrus sub-brand, and to develop novel features such as the ProArt Studiobook 16's integrated Dial. It may also have helped the company remain successful despite the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Asus also pursues "diverse" partnerships with entities ranging from furniture brands to artists "to offer differentiated value and new experiences", particularly as far as ROG is concerned. Finally, the OEM asserts its increasingly "prioritizes" measures such as the use of renewable energy and reducing its emissions across its centers and facilities worldwide.
