We use the full version of StarCraft 2 for Windows for our benchmarks and decided to benchmark the intro sequence of the Challenge "For the Swarm". We are using Fraps to record the average framerate from the Intro sequence (beginning at the time the image apears until the mouse cursor appears). As the performance is lower in the first run (due to HDD loading e.g.), we benchmark three runs and take the best average score.
This intro should represent the average Single Player and Multiplayer performance. CPU speed is not very important in this benchmark (it has a higher impact while actually gaming).
Texture Quality and Graphics Quality are changed using the presets in the game (we only change the preset and not the detailed settings). Vertical Sync and "Reduce Mouse Lag" are disabled. Display Mode is "Fullscreen". The graphics driver settings are all set on default and no AA is forced.
