The Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 managed to beat Huawei's Kirin 9000 and the previous-generation Snapdragon 865+ in the Master Lu benchmark. While the Snapdragon 875's Cortex-X1 Super core (2.8GHz) managed to keep it ahead in the CPU department, things are a lot closer to the GPU front. Realme took only 2.25 years to achieve this milestone, meaning that it has officially beaten all other OEMs in this respect.

MediaTek reportedly working on two Cortex-A78 based chips

A new leak suggests that MediaTek is working on two new chipsets that use ARM's latest Cortex-A78 cores. It will likely succeed last year's Dimensity lineup and set a precedent for subsequent MediaTek releases in 2021. The hardware is expected to make its debut alongside a Chinese-origin smartphone in the coming weeks.

The confirmed OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition has a launch date

OnePlus' CEO has reportedly affirmed via Weibo that the Cyberpunk 2077-themed special edition of the 8T premium smartphone will launch in China on November 2, 2020. Little is known about this device, except the obvious point that it has a new brand partner. There are hints that it will share the style of the game's teasers thus far.
