Xiaomi released the Mi Pad 5 and Mi Mix 4 in China a few weeks ago. The company finally appears to be set to bring one of those devices over to the global market, and it appears the Mi Mix 4 will not make the cut.
The company has now officially teased a product launch event for September 15, where it will deliver a few of its products to the global market. While the company doesn't specify which products it will launch, information from other quarters provide a clue. According to Xiaomiui, the Chinese will launch the Mi Pad 5 and Mi 11T series on that date.
It seems only the Mi Pad 5 will make the trip over, with Xiaomiui specifying the Snapdragon 860-powered model. The Mi Pad 5 Pro looks unlikely to be released globally, likewise the Mi Mix 4—which is tipped to remain a China-only product. The source also claims the Mi 11T series will be released on that date. Reports last week claimed a September 23 release but those appear to have been inaccurate.
