Realme is geared to release a slew of devices next month but the star of the show will be the company's first tablet, the Realme Pad. The Realme Pad is expected to rival Xiaomi's new Mi Pad 5, and details of the tablet have now surfaced ahead of launch, revealing some specs, dimensions, and even pricing speculation.

Last week, Realme officially announced the Realme Pad at its RealmeBook and Realme GT Master series launch event. Information about the upcoming tablet has been sparse so far but a new leak has now revealed some important details about the device which is expected to be positioned against Xiaomi's new Mi Pad 5.

According to information coming out of China, the Realme Pad will sport a 10.4-inch AMOLED. A 90 Hz panel is speculated. That should be a solid alternative to the Mi Pad 5's 120 Hz LCD. We already know from a previous certification listing that one SKU will offer a 7100 mAh battery, and this source confirms that.

The Realme Pad is tipped to feature four speakers, the same as the regular Mi Pad 5, but not as impressive as the Mi Pad 5 Pro and its eight speakers. Like the vanilla Mi Pad 5, the Realme Pad will sport just one rear camera. Dimensions are listed as 246 mm x 156 mm x 6.8 mm.

The source has also confirmed that the Realme Pad will be revealed next month, alongside a Snapdragon 870-powered phone—likely the Realme Master Explorer Edition—a TV, a watch, an air purifier, and a sweeping robot. No mention is made about the SoC underlying the Realme Pad but speculation leans towards a Snapdragon 768G at the moment. The tablet is also expected to carry a CNY 1,499  (US$230) price tag in this guise. That undercuts the Mi Pad 5 (US$310) heavily and would excuse the use of a Snapdragon 768G.
