The Realme Pad will be launched in a couple of days and live images of the company’s first tablet have started appearing online. The first image (see below) comes from Francis Wong, a Realme executive who frequently posts teasers about upcoming products. In the picture he can been seen using the Realme Pad and showing off its WUXGA+ display (2000x1200 resolution), and he even has a Realme Book Slim sitting neatly behind where he is holding the tablet.
Other instances of the Realme Pad showing its face right ahead of launch include at the Realme community site and on the Realme TechLife Twitter account. The live images on the community site, supplied by Rohit_p1997, don’t reveal the display but they do give another look at the impressive ultra-slim build of the Realme Pad. The photo shared by Realme TechLife is a promo image that demonstrates how although the tablet is of a decent size it can still be held without issue in one hand because of its light weight.
It still seems possible that Realme might spring a surprise by launching more than one Pad variant, with there being potential for a Realme Pad Pro or similar. Wong posted a tweet that simply stated “what is WUXGA+?” and while some followers directly answered the question (“widescreen ultra extended graphics array”) others asked whether this meant the Realme Pad would come with an AMOLED panel, as previously expected, but with an uncommon WUXGA+ resolution.
