Yesterday at an event in India, Realme unveiled its latest products for the market, including the highly vaunted Realme Pad as well as the Realme 8i and Realme 8s 5G. Rumors indicated that the company would launch the Realme 9 series at the same event but that was not to be, although an official announcement was provided.

According to Realme, the Realme 9 series will be launched next year. The Realme 8 series was released in March, and it wouldn't be out of place for its successor to debut around the same time next year. That's about six months away, though, so fans of the series still have quite the wait on their hands.

Quoting the company, the Realme 9 " will adopt fantastic mainstream processors". The Realme 6, Realme 7, and Realme 8 have all featured MediaTek processors, so odds are highly in favor of the Realme 9 doing so as well. We'll be sure to keep you updated either way.
