The Mi Note 11 may finally be on the way. Xiaomi debuted the world's first 108 MP camera smartphone with the Mi Note 10 back in 2019. For some reason, however, the company failed to release a direct successor last year. That may be set to change, as word on the grapevine has now hinted at a device that could be the Mi Note 11.
According to Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi has a new device in the works. The identity of the phone remains shrouded in doubt but the Chinese tipster has hinted that the phone could launch as a device in the Mi CC series. The Mi CC9 Pro was sold as the Mi Note 10 in the global market, and logic dictates that the Mi CC10 could also make the trip out of China wearing a Mi Note 11 badge.
Details of the phone are interesting. The mid-range phone is tipped for a Snapdragon 778G, a direct upgrade on the Snapdragon 730G on the Mi Note 10. The display will also be a high refresh rate one, likely a 120 Hz AMOLED.
The Mi Note 10 was a camera-centric phone and the Mi Note 11 will continue in that vein. It's expected to feature a 1/1.5-inch 50 MP main camera with OIS, in addition to a 13 MP ultra-wide camera, a 12 MP 2x zoom camera, and an 8 MP 5x camera. Powerful hardware indeed, and one that would make it a strong successor to the Mi Note 10. We'll keep you updated on this either way.
