Xiaomi has now begun rolling out the MIUI 12.5 update to the Poco X3 NFC and the Redmi Note 9 Pro—both in Europe. While the rollout for the Redmi Note 9 Pro is a limited one, all Poco X3 NFC owners in Europe should be getting their first taste of MIUI 12.5 right about now.

After rolling out the MIUI 12.5 update to models like the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9S, Xiaomi has now set its sights towards two other devices, the Poco X3 NFC and the Redmi Note 9 Pro.

Starting with the Poco X3 NFC, the MIUI 12.5 update is arriving with the build designation "MIUI 12.5.2.0 RJGEUXM", showing that it's an early update for the European model of the device. The OTA weighs in at 997 MB and delivers MIUI 12.5, the July security patch, performance improvements, and a revamp to the Notes app.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is also getting the MIUI 12.5 update. The OTA lands with the software version number "MIUI 12.5.1.0 RJZEUXM", again denoting that it's intended for the European ROM version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro. It delivers the August security patch but doesn't appear to fix existing third-party launcher compatibility issues. This is a Mi Pilot release, so will only be sent out to those who opted in for the program. A full rollout will follow over the next few weeks.
