Xiaomi is now rolling out the MIUI 12.5 update to the Poco X3 NFC. The update for the mid-range phone is being sent out to Global ROM units, and delivers the July security patch. Meanwhile, the Poco F3 is now also receiving a new update in some regions.

Xiaomi continues to roll out MIUI 12.5 updates for its devices. The latest phone to enjoy its first taste of Xiaomi's current skin is the Poco X3 NFC, with the company starting to seed the update to the phone earlier today.

The update for the Poco X3 NFC bears the software version number "MIUI 12.5.1.0 RJGMIXM". As usual, that shows it's an early MIUI 12.5 build—the first one, actually—for the global model of the Poco X3 NFC. The OTA weighs in at 2.4 GB and delivers the July security update. This is a stable beta release, which means it'll be sent out randomly pending a full public rollout over the coming weeks.

The incredibly popular Poco F3 is also receiving a MIUI 12.5 update. The update is rolling out to the European and Russian models of the phone, with software version numbers "V12.5.3.0.RKHEUXM" and "V12.5.3.0.RKHRUXM". Seeing as the builds are identical, it's likely the two models are getting the same update. The updates deliver the June security patch, keeping with Xiaomi's habit of late security updates. It appears the update for the Russian model is only releasing partially at the moment, however, so owners of the device may have to wait a while.
