Galaxy S21 FE: new 3D renders purport to confirm earlier design- and color-related leaks
Samsung is still projected to launch a successor to the popular Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE), which proved a crowd-pleaser by offering flagship specs in a more mid-range package. Then again, it seems 2021 has gotten to the next generation of this device: it has reportedly been subject to delays, the latest of which may have been a back-to-school season launch campaign that may have had to be scrapped.
Therefore, it seems interested consumers might have to wait until later in the third quarter, or maybe even until the last quarter, of 2021 to even get an official glimpse of their possible next phone. Evan Blass has moved to once again allegedly pre-empt Samsung with some new renders beforehand.
These new offerings are interactive 3D models this time, which can be dragged around through a variety of angles or downloaded free of charge from SketchFab.com. They purport to confirm the design hinted at in earlier leaks, and may show that the S21 FE gets a USB type C port and a bottom-firing speaker, albeit no 3.5mm jack.
They are presented in 5 colors: Green, White, Violet, Blue and Gray. Therefore, an aspiring Galaxy S21 FE might well get the phone outlined in so many potentially exciting leaks up until now. Then again, their veracity all still depend on validation from Samsung, which will hopefully be around limited numbers of corners by now.
