Samsung has been observed to have posted pages for a device called the SM-G990B/DS, a model number previously linked to the Galaxy S21 FE, a phone thought to have faced the axe due to supply constraints. Therefore, it seems the latest Fan Edition flagship smartphone variant is now back as an upcoming product.

Samsung often adds new support pages for its products prior to their launch, in an often definitive form of leaked confirmation that the device in question would truly launch soon. Therefore, it may have been disappointing for many Galaxy S20 FE fans when such a resource for its rumored successor, the SM-G990B or S21 FE, appeared on official OEM sites only to be yanked again shortly afterward.

Now, however, the same pages have started to make a re-appearance. They have been spotted on the websites for Samsung's Irish online presence as well as that for the Caribbean region thus far; nevertheless, it might be a hopeful sign that the S21 FE product cycle has been re-started, perhaps for good this time.

This phone was conspicuous through its absence from Samsung's recent Galaxy Unpacked 2 event. However, these new pages might be a sign that it gets a show to itself later on. Then again, this is projected to be pushed back as late as January 2022, thereby postponing the launch of the S22 flagship range until February in turn.
