Galaxy S21 FE leak: No 32 MP camera, smaller display than the S20 FE, more
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE remains elusive. The phone has defied all launch date expectations so far, and it's unknown when Samsung will finally release it. The S21 FE surfaced on the Google Play console a few days ago, but a new leak has now revealed even more about it.
According to word from China, the Galaxy S21 FE will sport a 6.41-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED. That's interesting as it means the S21 FE will have a smaller display than the S20 FE and its 6.5-inch screen. It's not so surprising either, as an earlier leak already claimed that the S22 and S22+ would be smaller than their predecessors. It appears Samsung may be looking to downsize its premium phones.
Rumors from a while ago claimed the S21 FE would sport a 32 MP main camera. This new leak debunks those claims soundly and confirms a 12 MP main shooter for the phone. We expect that to be the same camera on the S21 and S21+. That 12 MP main camera will be joined by a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8 MP telephoto lens. In other words, the S21 FE will have the same rear camera array as the S20 FE, mirroring the S20 and S21 lines.
Other specs include a Snapdragon 888, a 4500 mAh battery, and 25 W charging. The leak claims that the S21 FE has been delayed, but we're not sure if that means it's been delayed yet again. It may just be a reference to Samsung pushing launch further back a few months ago. An October release remains most likely.
