Samsung Galaxy S21 FE official renders leak in four colours and with metal frames
Samsung is not expected to launch the Galaxy S21 FE until October, but the handset has leaked multiple times this week. Initially, the device appeared on the FCC, which usually occurs shortly before a device's release. While the FCC did not publish photos of the device, one document confirmed that Samsung submitted it with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.
Now, Android Headlines has revealed official renders of the Galaxy S21 FE, presumably marketing assets that Samsung will use later this year. Android Headlines has watermarked the image, as you can see below. However, the image is Samsung's IP and not a render created from CADs, as OnLeaks frequently releases.
Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy S21 FE looks like a watered-down Galaxy S21. Correspondingly, the Galaxy S21 FE has a flat display with a centred hole punch and three rear-facing cameras. It appears that the device has antenna lines running through its frame though, unlike the Galaxy S20 FE. Hence, it seems likely that Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S21 FE with a metal frame, rather than the plastic one found in last year's model.
Mind you, the Galaxy S21 FE is still expected to feature a plastic back. Based on the render leaked by Android Headlines, Samsung plans to release the Galaxy S21 FE in two colours, too.
