Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 renders showcase the upcoming foldable from almost every angle
The Galaxy Z Fold3 has leaked again, with Evan Blass having presented renders of the device last week. Ultimately, Samsung has a big job on its hands with the Galaxy Z Fold3. Based on past rumours, the device will be Samsung's only large flagship for 2H 2021, with no Galaxy Note 21 series forthcoming. There will be the Galaxy Z Flip3 too, but this would not be an adequate replacement for a Galaxy Note smartphone series, in our opinion.
To that end, Samsung is bringing S Pen support to the Galaxy Z Fold3, along with a few other innovations. 91Mobiles has provided the best look yet at what these are, including the device's under-panel camera (UPC). This sits behind a 7.55-inch inner display that is rumoured to offer greater scratch resistance than the Galaxy Z Fold2's comparatively soft display.
Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold3 looks like a gradual evolution of its predecessor, rather than a redesign as Samsung made from the Galaxy Fold to the Galaxy Z Fold2. Accordingly, the black colourway from last year's model remains, but Samsung has replaced the Mystic Bronze option with dark green and light pink hues. 91Mobiles asserts that all colour options have a matte finish too, unlike with the Galaxy Z Fold2.
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Fold3 at a Galaxy Unpacked event in August. Apparently, this event will occur on August 3 or August 11 and will be used by Samsung to reveal the Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3 and the Galaxy Watch 4 series.
