Rumor | The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 will launch at MWC 2021 in a new color
The latest rumors suggest that Samsung's newest TWS earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 2 (or "Buds2") may be unveiled on June 28, 2021 as companions to the new Galaxy Watch4 series. Should they truly debut this soon, they are now rumored to do so with a new finish - in a new color, too.
The shade of green strongly hinted at in new and "exclusive" 91Mobiles renders may strike one as particularly muted and natural, in keeping with some prevailing trends. They are now said to be joined by identical SKUs in white, black and purple, neither of which are alien to the Galaxy Buds series in any way. Then again, the latter is similarly toned down to a more subtle mauve this time.
All of these new rumored Galaxy Buds2 options also stand out to some degree as they seem to have a uniform finish in their new leak, as opposed to the highly-worked looks of their Pro, Buds Live or Buds+ forebears. Furthermore, it seems that, regardless of their color, each pair will come in the same white charging case (albeit with matching inserts).
This detail reinforces the impression that the Buds2 are not exactly meant to be the most premum iteration of their series to date. In fact, they will not even get true ANC according to the latest rumors, and will be rated for "noise reduction" and passive noise-cancellation through physical ear-seals instead.
On the other hand, this may mean they will hardly cost more than the original Galaxy Buds on their possibly imminent launch.
