Official Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 renders leak
Evan Blass has delivered renders for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, two months before their expected announcement. While many leakers publish CAD renders of upcoming devices, it appears that Blass has got his hands on marketing assets.
Unsurprisingly, Blass has not cited the source of the assets. However, Blass' reputation precedes him at this point. Not only do the assets reveal the design of Samsung next-generation foldable smartphones, but they also confirm their marketing names. As expected, Samsung will call the pair the Galaxy Z Fold3 and the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G.
Based on the renders provided, both devices are refinements on the Galaxy Z Fold2 and the Galaxy Z Flip. It seems that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a larger cover display than the Galaxy Z Flip, albeit with two front-facing cameras again. The two-tone colour scheme looks stylish too, although we are yet to see the device's inside or back.

The differences between the Galaxy Z Fold2 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 are more subtle, though. For example, Samsung has moved the SIM tray and antenna lines, but it has kept the side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Incidentally, the design matches the one that leaked last month.
The much-talked-about under-display camera appears to be missing, with a conventional hole-punch camera in its place. In fact, the inner display looks indistinguishable from the Galaxy Z Fold2's. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 supports an S Pen though, so Samsung must have reinforced the display of its next foldable smartphone.
Samsung is expected to reveal the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 on August 3 at a Galaxy Unpacked event. Apparently, the South Korean company will simultaneously unveil the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch Active 4, too.
