Phrozen announces the new Sonic Mini 8K 3D printer
Phrozen has revealed its new 3D printer, the Sonic Mini 8K. 3D Printing Industry has reported that Phrozen boasted that the new 3D printer is the highest-resolution printer the manufacturer has ever conceived at resolutions up to 22 microns and 1152 PPI. Phrozen was established in Taiwan in 2016 and has since released a wide range of 3D printers that target a global audience. However, the Sonic Mini and Sonic Mini 4K were also designed for budget-conscious consumers.
The Sonic Mini 8K 3D printer attempts to attract both casual and expert users. The CEO of Phrozen has supported this statement by arguing that the new 3D printer is accessible to hobbyists via its large 7.1-inch LCD and experts can appreciate its very precise and professional 3D prints.
The new 3D printer is average-sized with dimensions of 290 x 290 x 420 mm and weighs 15 kg. Furthermore, the Sonic Mini 8K has a build volume of 165 x 72 x 180 mm with a 7.1-inch LCD and USB connectivity at the front. The device prints at a relatively fast speed of up to 80 mm/hr.
