Office exemplar with gaming ambitions. The new ZenBook brings together the core of what office users desire and invites you to play a game or two thanks to its GeForce MX150 GPU. ASUS seems to have succeeded in this balancing act where other subnotebooks have failed. If there is anything to complain about, it is only at a high level.

Comes with a hardware switch. For the last two years, TP-Link has been one of the players in the market for affordable smartphones and was able to mainly attract some price-conscious customers with its devices. The Chinese manufacturer is also trying the same strategy with the new Neffos N1, which aims to draw some attention with a 12+12 MP dual-camera system at an affordable price. We clarify in our review how well this approach works and what customers can additionally expect from the TP-Link smartphone.

Caffeine boost. The Asus GL703GE packs in more processor performance than ever thanks to Intel’s new Core i7-8750H CPU. The Coffee Lake chip is a shot in the arm for processor-reliant tasks, and the 120 Hz display has been improved. Still, the price makes the GL703GE hard to recommend.

Mid-range P20 The Huawei P20 Lite is overshadowed by its big brothers and its competition is also well positioned at this price-performance ratio. Our review shows that buyers of this mid-range smartphone receive a good device regardless.

All-rounder The VivoBook 15 scores highly for its powerful quad-core processor, its dedicated GeForce GPU and good battery life. Once again, the VivoBook is let down by an unconvincing display.

The largest subnotebook. HP’s latest EliteBook 830 G5 is much more than a simple redesign. Not only does it feature a larger display, but it is also a quantum leap for HP’s business line-up. Find out whether or not HP is leaping in the right direction in our extensive review.

PC with smartphone SoC. The Asus NovaGo is one of the first devices equipped with a Snapdragon 835 processor, which is usually used for smartphones and tablets. We got our hands on a pre-production sample and tested how the compact convertible handles Windows and daily tasks.

G as in genius? The latest offshoot of the Motorola-G series is advertised self-confidently and presents itself as a successful advancement of the Moto G5s. Gaming Colossus. The GT75 8RG Titan marks MSI’s relaunch of its most powerful and massive 17-inch notebook. The desktop replacement includes a hexa-core CPU, a 120 Hz display and NVIDIA’s fastest mobile GPU to fit its high-end billing. We will be putting this gaming newcomer up against the toughest of competitors.

Next please! Ten is more than nine - and Huawei develops its P10 according to this strategy. A faster SoC, more storage, bigger battery, and a better camera. The design is rounder and the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the front. Not revolutionary, but the Chinese manufacturer does not show weaknesses with the Huawei P10.

Think big! You should have a look at Huawei's latest product if you like big high-end phablets. Besides the new Kirin 960 SoC, you get a dual-camera, modern Android 7.0 with the new EMUI 5.0 as well as a big battery. The highlight is a 5.9-inch IPS display. A good device, no question, but our review shows where it struggles.

It is back! Only a few months after its predecessor was released, OnePlus has now presented its newest smartphone. The OnePlus 5T comes in the modern 2:1 format and has improved cameras. But are there enough changes for it to be a convincing update?

Computation artist. The OnePlus 5 is a fast smartphone that is available for a good price - although it is not as cheap as it used to be and competition has increased. Can the smartphone with dual camera, AMOLED screen and a slim case still hold its ground among the high-end range? Find out in our review.

Flexibility for the masses. Lenovo's 13.3-inch Yoga 730 is an elegantly designed consumer 2-in-1 with impressive performance, great ergonomics and good battery life. Throttling under heavy load remains an issue, however - although that's less of a drawback than one might think.

A lot of features! The business segment is a busy market and Fujitsu is trying to join it with its LifeBook U758. Its specifications are very promising. Find out if the well-equipped notebook can keep up with its competition in our review.

All-out attack. With the GS65, MSI has released an uncompromising opponent to the Gigabyte Aero 15X. The GS65 is a 15-inch gaming notebook that impresses us with its combination of outstanding hardware housed in an ultra-thin and lightweight case, just like its main competitor. Who will win out in this battle between gaming notebooks?

Higher price, same CPU performance. The Core i5 XPS 15 9575 impressed us in terms of raw performance and graphical prowess for such a thin convertible. The Core i7 SKU performs just as well, albeit at very marginal benefits. For better or worse, the differences between the i5 and i7 SKUs are smaller than we had anticipated.

Ultrabay reloaded. The 15.6-incher from Lenovo features a Kaby Lake processor, an SSD, and 8 GB of (dual-channel) RAM. Windows 10 Pro serves as the OS. The battery life fails to impress. However, you can put a secondary battery inside the device.

Core i3 – now with Turbo. The Aspire 3 A315-51 scores well for its powerful processor, fast SSD, and reasonable price. There is no Windows OS installed though, and the display and battery life are unimpressive.

Boon or bust. A GeForce MX130? Until now only two laptop manufacturers have built this pared-down version of the MX150 into their models. One of them is Acer who uses this rare combination of an i5-8250U and the MX130 in their 15-inch Aspire 5. Among other things we will find in our test how large the difference in the graphics performance really is and whether the Acer is mainly suited for work or also for gaming.

Unsophisticated. Fujitsu’s business notebook scores some major points with an LTE modem, great maintenance options and good battery life. However, the model from the LifeBook E series forgoes an optical disk drive and a serial port.

Easily a performance upgrade! The Fujitsu LifeBook U748 succeeds the LifeBook U747, with a welcome performance boost thanks to its Intel Kaby Lake Refresh processor. Read on to see how the LifeBook U748 improves upon its predecessor and how it compares against other business notebooks.

60 FPS gaming on an Ultrabook. Aorus is well-known for cramming as much power as possible in the smallest form factors and the $700 USD Gaming Box is no different. The eGPU promises to turbocharge any Thunderbolt 3 PC to be a gaming monster. Our tests reveal that Aorus is true to its word, albeit with some notable software hiccups and asterisks that every potential owner should know about before purchasing.

Ryzen up. Acer has updated their popular Swift 3 laptop with AMD's most powerful mobile APU, the Ryzen 7 2700U with RX Vega 10 graphics. Unfortunately, the system fails to live up to its full potential.

GTX 1060 unleashed. Intel's brand-new desktop hexa-core Core i7-8700 is clearly the star of Schenker's new 15-inch Apex notebook. It is slightly oversized for a gaming notebook and is accompanied by a fast GeForce GTX 1060 GPU. The laptop lacks support for G-Sync but offers plentiful connectivity in return. Unfortunately, it suffers from a problem completely unrelated to gaming.

Display failure. Dell's Latitude series is mainly targeted towards business customers who have different demands than private consumers. However, does this mean that companies should offer a laptop with a bad display to their employees? This is exactly what they would do, if they purchased the Dell Latitude 5290 that we have tested extensively.

Another one. Just 6 months of development time separates the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact and its predecessor. Still, a lot has changed: Design, display size and Super Slow-Motion, which is still one of the core features. Find out in this review whether the exterior only serves to mask stagnation or if the smartphone really is a successful evolution.

Fast as Hell. Hades himself would own one of these if he wanted a mini PC for gaming. The unlocked NUC rivals a GTX 1060 laptop in raw graphics horsepower while having the CPU performance of a stock Core i7-7700K - all in an integrated chipset under a vapor chamber cooler.

Business for the Elite. For 2018, the largest PC manufacturer of the world, HP, has given its EliteBook series a big update. The better displays and metal case are supposed to help EliteBooks reach an even wider audience of business users. Find out whether HP has done a good job in our detailed review.

A good deal The VivoBook Flip scores points with its high-contrast IPS touch screen and silent operation. The former can also be used for inputs with an active stylus.

Everything in HDR. HDR is the key term for Sony's new high-end smartphone Xperia XZ2: The display supports HDR 10 and is able to upscale content to HDR, while the camera can record videos in HDR. Can this be seen as a real innovation? Have they done enough to compete on the market?

Office all-rounder. With the LifeBook E548, Fujitsu offers a competitive 14-inch business notebook. With its many equipment configurations, the E548 offers all that buyers would expect from an office laptop, at least on paper. We find out in our review, whether these specifications are also reflected in our benchmark results.

Wasted potential. The Acer Spin 3 SP314-51 comes with a powerful quad-core processor, dual-channel-enabled RAM and an SSD. The battery life is also good. However, the fan is uncomfortably loud under load.

More CPU power. Gigabyte has refreshed its slim 14-inch laptop with a new six-core processor. Read on for what effect this has on performance, fan noise, temperature and power consumption.

Fractionally..better? Compared to its i5-equipped sibling, the i7 version of the attractive XPS 13 9370 - this time with twice the hard drive space and double the amount of RAM - doesn't really offer significantly improved performance. Why that might be the case is one of the question we'll try to answer in our review.

Small business all-rounder. The ThinkPad L380 is Lenovo's alternative for those users who don't get much out of a business convertible, but do not want to go without the design and features of the L380 Yoga. In addition, there is also a display that is free from flickering. Our test review will show whether the performance of the 13-inch notebook can also keep up with the competition.

Instant XPS classic. Dell is betting big on the unproven Kaby Lake-G platform and its MagLev keyboard to carry the new XPS 15 2-in-1 forward. The end result feels like the XPS we know and love while being thinner, quieter, cooler, and nearly as powerful as the standard XPS 15 that it derives from.

Best of both worlds. Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Yoga is a sleek 2-in-1 for business professionals. While the top of the line configuration is an excellent machine, this mid-tier model may be the best solution for most users in need of a well-styled hybrid business device.

Spanish middle class. With the Aquaris X Pro, BQ presents us with a 5.2-inch Android all-rounder with no killer features on the one hand, but also no weaknesses worth mentioning on the other. Update: camera performance improved

Purist. Straightforward design, slimmed-down features, no charger - At first, the BQ Aquaris VS Plus doesn't seem like a phone to fall in love with. But the stock Android, the good cameras and the low price make up for a lot. Is the Spanish smartphone worth considering?

AMD's new desktop APUs Ryzen 5 2400G and Ryzen 5 2200G brought a breath of fresh air to the low-budget segment. The second generation is supposed to succeed in the performance market as well, and to these ends AMD has released two brand-new Ryzen CPUs. Let's find out whether or not they can compete at eye level with Intel's Coffee Lake.

Bigger is not always better. After we have reviewed the 14-inch models of the ThinkPad T series, namely the T480 and the T480s, we move on to the bigger T580. Can the 15-inch ThinkPad give us the similarly good results that we saw in the 14-inch models? Read our comprehensive review to find out.

Outdoor color play. At first glance, the Nomu M6 was convincing with its fresh design and its decent build quality. The low-end hardware can be justified with the low purchase price, even if only barely. However, the case is not the only thing with rough edges here.

Coffee Lake on speed. Gigabyte's Aorus X9 DT is a 17-inch high-end notebook with top-of-the-line hardware and an overclockable processor that should run every game smoothly on its FHD display. Let us compare the desktop replacement to other GTX 1080 laptops - which one will prevail?

New revision. Lenovo equips the ThinkPad T480s with a new chassis and closes the gap towards its own ThinkPad X1 Carbon. Intel's latest quad-core processors are obviously included as well. We checked the SKU with the high-resolution WQHD IPS panel.

More or less? The BQ Aquaris VS is only available directly from the manufacturer. There is the more widely available BQ Aquaris V though, which while looking practically identical, is priced differently and with different specifications. Display upgrade vs. SSD downgrade. On the outside, the Acer Nitro 5 Spin is easily recognizable as the gaming version of the Acer Spin 5. However, trying to find other differences between the two convertibles is more difficult - there do not seem to be any at first glance. Is the Nitro hoping to reach gamer status by its red stripes alone, or does it have more to offer? We have put it to the test.

Under a kilogram. The LG Gram 13 lives up to its name by being one of the lightest 13.3-inch Ultrabooks currently available. It's not without some sacrifices, however, as its barebone set of hardware features and fragile lid stand out as key disadvantages.

Smart business. Dell is updating its business subnotebooks of the 7000 series with the current Kaby Lake Refresh CPUs and has equipped the 7390 with a smart card slot as well as other security features. Our extensive test evaluates whether in addition to having a very long battery life, the display, connections, and input devices can also stand up to the demands of a professional.

Chinese luxury. Huawei used to be content with being low-end. However, now it is entering the high-end sector. The MediaPad M5 10.8 is the current top-end tablet from Huawei. Here, the manufacturer shows off its confidence when it comes to the asking price: Even the new iPad is cheaper under certain circumstances. So the question we have here is two-fold: Is Huawei asking too much for the new slate or is its new high-end tablet really that good?

Consistent: The HP mt21 scores well for its little fan noise, efficient heat management and good battery life. Its 14-inch display will win no prizes though.

Same body, new engine. The 14-inch Dell Latitude 7490 retains the same design as last year's Latitude 7480 but sports a new quad-core U-series CPU. The Core i7-8650U is a significant upgrade over the dual-core chip in the previous iteration. Does the increase in power warrant an upgrade?

Experienced successor. While the last two Far Cry games were set in the Himalayas and the Stone Age, the fifth part of this series takes place in the US. Similar to BioShock Infinite, the game deals with a religious cult. We have tested which GPU can really give these fanatics a good working over.

Now with six cores. With Intel’s new Coffee-Lake architecture now being released, manufacturers upgrade their existing models. Gigabyte’s new Aero 15X v8 inherits the predecessor's slim bezel, but adds a 144 Hz panel and a hex-core processor.

Are we wandering in the dark? ZTE promises buyers of the Blade V9 better photos in bad lighting. We were not quite convinced by the low-light feature. In this review, we want to clarify whether or not the Blade V9's night shots are still better than those of other smartphones.

Galactic evolution. The Galaxy S9 is a great smartphone with powerful specifications and an excellent camera. Samsung unfortunately waives a dual-camera for this smartphone and reduced the RAM, but the price has nevertheless increased. We check if it makes sense to switch.

A lot of changes! After HP only gave its business notebook a quick brush-up last year, a lot of changes have been made to the new EliteBook 840. There is the Kaby Lake Refresh processor and a new case redesign. This does not necessarily mean that new is always better. Little endurance. HP's Mobile Thin Client is based on the EliteBook 745/840 G4. Accordingly, the 14-incher has an elegant and sturdy case, a very good keyboard, and offers many connection options. However, the battery life turns out to be meager.

The ThinkPad L380 Yoga is an affordable convertible that expands Lenovo’s business range. Find out in this detailed review whether this economy ThinkPad Yoga does enough to convince us.

Well-conceived convertible! The ZenBook Flip combines a multitude of devices into one. The suitability for gaming is no more a problem for the slim convertible than CPU-heavy applications are. This detailed review will show whether there is a catch somewhere.

Will that work? ZTE delivers the first "foldable" smartphone. While we would have imagined something else, the statement is right in principle. With its two displays and hinge in between, the Axon M reminds us a little of the old Nokia Communicator, but it can do so much more. What exactly that is, we gathered for you in our review.

Now with Pencil support. Apple refreshes its iPad and equips the tablet with a new chip (SoC), and the Apple Pencil is now supported as well. This was reserved for the Pro models until now. Otherwise, there are not many new features, as you can see in our review of the 2018 iPad.

A promising smartphone. A phablet in the trendy 2:1 format that has similarities to the parent company Huawei's Mate 10 Pro, but costs a lot less. Does this mean that Huawei has put its own top-range model at risk or are the differences too big for the View 10 to be a real competitor after all? We shall find out.

Apple iPhone X for the price-conscious. The Chinese manufacturer Oukitel does not go out of its way to denounce its smartphone’s similarity to Apple’s flagship device (iPhone X), instead the company actually goes so far as to compare both its mid-range U18 offering and Apple’s top-end smartphone, the iPhone X, on its own website. Premiere for Coffee Lake. After Intel's new CPU architecture had its debut in the desktop segment a few months ago, Coffee Lake is now finally available for notebooks. Gamers can look forward to devices such as the ROG Zephyrus M GM501 from Asus, which we have taken a closer look at in this review.

Streaming machine. The IdeaPad 100s-14IBR benefits from silent operation, a fast memory card reader and a spare M.2-2280 slot. The device fails to stand out in other areas though.

Surface Pro Pro? The Latitude 5290 seeks to be a Surface Pro for business professionals. Equipped with an 8th-gen Intel SoC, NVMe SSD, and a bright and vivid touchscreen display, can this $1,932 convertible make a compelling case for its value as a business asset?

New mid-range. Sony is refreshing its smartphone product lineup, beginning with the 5.2-inch Xperia XA2 mid-range smartphone, which aims to please with qualities such as having the fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, a Full HD display, and a 23-MP camera. Our test shows whether the Sony Android phone succeeds.

Not only for students. The new 14-inch ThinkPad T480 is being offered right now at a large discount through Lenovo’s Campus Program. The business laptop is set to follow in the footsteps of its successful predecessor T470 (91%). Our review device comes with an Intel Core i7-8550U CPU and an Nvidia GeForce MX150. Smaller is better 13.3 inch laptops are a rarity in the business laptop sector. The fact that these models have their place in the market is shown by the less exciting and yet rock solid ProBook 430 G5. Read this detailed review to find out the advantages and disadvantages of this low priced business notebook.

Versatile. TThe ZenBook Flip 14 pleases with a fashionable metal case, an illuminated keyboard, and a good battery life. Not only can the touchscreen be operated with your fingers but also using the input pen which Asus sells separately. However, in terms of the equipment, Asus has made a few decisions that are questionable.

Can it be smaller? Trekstor takes the design and hardware of the Primebook C13 and crams it all into an 11-inch case. What we get as a result is the Primeboon C11, which we examine in this review to see whether the same hardware components can offer similar performance in a smaller form-factor.

Upgrade. A quad-core and an MX150 in a notebook that weighs a mere 1.3 kg - the Chinese manufacturer has upgraded its 2018 model of the Air to a level on a par with the Mi Notebook Pro. Despite identical specifications the two differ in performance though, as our extensive review shows quite clearly.

Neck and neck. One year after the launch of the predecessor, the Xiaomi Mi Mix, the Chinese manufacturer has now released a new model. Not much has changed on the outside, apart from the device shrinking slightly. While other Asian manufacturers are fighting for customers with very competitive prices, Xiaomi displays confidence in its pricing, thereby placing its focus on quality and design.

Even more versatile thanks to GeForce. We just recently tested the ThinkPad T480s, the latest model in a long series of high-quality 14 inch T series ThinkPads. Now we’re testing the same model – this time with a stronger CPU and the GeForce MX150 Max-Q. Can it confirm the strong results of the lower priced T480s? Affordable cloudbook. While the Stream 14 is mainly focused on cloud-assisted operation, we will check whether using it offline is possible too. We shall also look into whether the 32 GB of storage and Intel Celeron processor can make a convincing package.

Plastic, pragmatic. The Asus FX503VM is a mid-tier gaming laptop at a budget-minded price. Although there are some cut corners, the overall package is capable, competent, and attractive.

Convertible with a retro design. The Huawei MateBook E has enough style to suit any office. Find out in our review whether the Intel Core i5-7Y54 and HD Graphics 615-powered convertible stands out from the competition with its internal capabilities.

Well-done all-rounder. Hewlett Packard's multimedia all-rounder features decent hardware, a fancy case, and long battery life.

Professional convertible… There’s a lot to like about the Latitude 7390 2-in-1, such as its Core i7-8650U quad-core CPU, NVMe SSD, sturdy case with a compact footprint, and dual-storage capability. But it also carries its share of drawbacks—and it’s quite expensive.

Portable multimedia machine. The UX430UN offers a bigger screen and faster GPU than the XPS 13 for hundreds less than the XPS 15. Its chassis and keyboard are unfortunately weaker than expected and feel cheaper to the touch.

Smarter. The Honor 9 Lite is not a bad buy at $290. Its SoC belongs to the upper mid-range and its other specifications are promising as well. In addition, the phone has four cameras to offer. Find out how the smartphone fares against its competition and sibling model, the Huawei P, in our review.

Mostly solid. The Envy features a powerful Ryzen 5 2500 APU, a fast NVMe SSD, and a backlit keyboard. In addition to input by fingers, the touchscreen also supports an optional stylus pen made by HP. Unfortunately, the dark display and occasional crashes dampen our expectations and the overall impression.

Marathon runner. The ZenFone 4 Max is supposed to combine maximum battery life with awesome photo quality. Accordingly, it is equipped not just with a dual-camera, but even a wide-angle lens. That said, all that glitters is not (rose) gold, as we found out during our camera tests.

Office drudge. Lenovo's 15.6-inch device offers a combination of a Kaby Lake processor, a solid state drive, and 8 GB of RAM (dual-channel). Windows 10 Pro serves as the operating system. There is no lack of flaws for this laptop. For example, the battery runtimes are lousy.

Desktop CPU in a notebook’s outfit. While most notebooks come with soldered-in processors and graphics cards, the XMG Ultra 15 from Schenker Technologies offers a lot of replaceable components. Whether it is enough to beat the competition, we aim to clarify in this review.

State of the Art. Lenovo's new, classy (and expensive) convertible from the ThinkPad business series has amped up its hardware. Of course, one of the highlights is the HDR-capable Dolby Vision display, but the up-to-date port selection also puts the device in a great position. The manufacturer has made (almost) no mistakes - we only found one little point of criticism towards the end of the test.

Less is more! Recently, we had the 2018 ThinkPad with dedicated AMD Radeon RX 550 GPU in review. Now, we're putting the entry-level model through its paces. Let's find out what the more basic model is truly capable of.

Cheap office computer. The HP 250 G6 costs around €500 (~$615), for which you get a 15.6-inch notebook with a Core i3 processor, 8 GB of RAM, a Full HD display, an SSD, and a good battery life.

No-Frills! In the convoluted world of office devices, the Lenovo ThinkPad L480 positions itself below the T-Series, but above the more affordable E-Series, all by the same manufacturer. In this review, we shall dive into what sets the L-Series apart and whether this ThinkPad is worth a consideration.

The same case but with a different name. The ThinkPad X380 shines with a fast NVMe SSD, a thin case and great battery life. The built-in quad-core Core i7 CPU cannot maintain its full performance. The Windows operating system is not included. Linux users, however, will be quite happy with the Linux compatibility of the convertible.

Function follows form. No doubt about it: the Spectre is a premium convertible with a robust high-quality case, and it's up-to-date thanks to Intel's latest 8th generation Core i7-8550U processor. Let's take a closer look at what hides behind all these flashy specs, shall we?

Heavy on options. The Latitude 5490 by Dell is marketed as the notebook equivalent of a safe. The relatively high price tag of this 14-inch productivity device justifies itself with a large number of security options, making this laptop suited for security-conscious companies. We shall not only put its security features through its paces, but also compare it to other productivity-focused devices.
