Sony has already announced the PlayStation 5 is in development and even shared some scant but vital component details about the next-generation console. However, there is still no real idea of what the gaming hardware will actually look like when it finally hits the shelves, which will hopefully be sometime in 2020.

A trio of IT researchers affiliated with Facebook have created a new method to turn a video of an individual performing a series of actions (e.g. a dance) into a 3D 'game character'. This character - and its associated movements - can then be transposed onto a new background. The researchers assert that this background could interact with said character.

Images of the components for the upcoming GPD Win Max handheld gaming PC have been leaked. The pictures show that an embedded chip from AMD’s Ryzen V1000 series has been chosen to power the device. The PS5 will also include a lightning-fast SSD that should drastically cut down on load time.
