Smooth and elegant. Visually, Lenovo's Yoga 6 definitely stands out due to its colour-accentuated, fabric-covered display lid. The mobile Ryzen 7 also earns some plus points, not only offering high performance, but also fitting almost perfectly into the elegant convertible thanks to other features.

5G and fanless. Microsoft offers its new Surface Pro 9 now also with an ARM processor, which brings some advantages such as integrated 5G connectivity and fanless operation. On the other hand, the performance also turns out significantly worse than that of the Intel version, despite the higher price.

Matte touchscreen. The flagship of the B5 Flip is a large, matte 16-inch OLED touchscreen in a work-friendly 16:10 format (3,840 x 2,400 pixels). With Intel's Arc-A350M GPU, a relatively new, so far rarely encountered entry-level graphics core is on board.

Excellent hardware ... meets a high-quality case in the Asus Chromebook Flip CX5. Hardly any other Chromebook has a more powerful processor or more RAM. The convertible delivers strong performance and is also suitable for gaming, as some tests with Steam games show. Only the price of the CX5 is annoying.

It hardly gets any cheaper. The GeoFlex 140 is a convertible that is offered for less than 200 Euros (~$218) at some shopping events. You do not get much performance for that, but you get a 2-in-1 laptop with Windows 11 Home license and one year of Microsoft Office 365. If you get both via Microsoft, they already cost more than the convertible.

Now without a stereo jack. Microsoft is now offering the Surface Pro 9 with either Intel or Qualcomm CPUs. The updated Alder Lake-U processor offers significantly more CPU power and the convertible now supports Wi-Fi 6E, but the stereo jack has been dropped.

Just 8 GB of fixed RAM. An AMD Zen + Nvidia MX ultrabook sounded nice a few years ago, but it's too little too late now that Zen 3+ CPUs are available with the faster, smaller, and more efficient integrated Radeon 680M. The GeForce MX450 is still not bad if you don't mind the added weight and thickness, though.

Well cooled: Even for a workstation with a 16-inch screen, the Asus ExpertBook B6 Flip is quite big and heavy. But an efficient cooling system inside the convertible easily dissipates the 140 watts of waste heat generated by the Intel Core i9-12950HX and Nvidia RTX A2000.

Glamorous. The defining trait of the Spectre x360 16 is a large 16-inch touchscreen display in a work-friendly 16:10 format (3,072 x 1,920). An input pen (HP Tilt Pen) is included. A 5 MP camera also comes as a plus for video conferencing.

Core i7-1255U and 1400p IPS. Lenovo's affordable convertible comes with Thunderbolt 4 and above average stats considering the US$1000 retail price. There's one particular change from the IdeaPad Flex 5, however, that has us rolling our eyes.

Efficient flexibility. With simple equipment but a few highlights such as Thunderbolt, a keyboard illumination, and of course a touchscreen, the IdeaPad Flex combines an office laptop with a 14-inch tablet. The fairly affordable i3 of the 12th generation impresses with its silence but is also surprisingly fast.

Trading Qualcomm for Intel. The 2022 Dragonfly Folio G3 directly addresses some key limitations of the ARM-based Elitebook Folio G2 for a much improved user experience. It's still a bit big, however, and it doesn't have as many ports as we would like.

Confidently work anywhere. If the top-of-the-line Latitude 7330 isn't good enough for you, then the top top-of the line Latitude 9330 might be up your alley. The 9330 offers a roomier 16:10 form factor, thinner profile, and even more USB-C ports for improved docking capabilities.
