HP Spectre x360: Upcoming Meteor Lake laptop revealed in full by early website listing
HP has accidentally leaked the full spec sheet of its upcoming thin-and-light laptop (via @momomo_us on X). It is a refreshed version of the HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 laptop, complete with Intel Meteor Lake processors. There appear to be two SKUs: an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H costing US$1,999.99 and a Core Ultra 5 125H. They're identical specs-wise, save for a few minor differences here and there.
While the spec sheet hasn't explicitly mentioned the TDP of either CPU, it will likely be set at 28 Watts, as the HP Spectre x360 model in question replaces the Intel Core i5-1345U-powered models (US$1,151 on Amazon) from the last generation. Both feature 16 GB of DDR5 6400 RAM; the 16-core (6P +8E + 2 LPE) Core Ultra 7 155H model offers 1 TB of storage, whereas the 14-core (4P +8E + 2 LPE) Core Ultra 5 125H version downgrades it to 512 GB.
Other HP Spectre x360 features include Wi-Fi 7, a 68 Wh battery that supports 65 W fast charging, one USB Type-A port, two Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, and a 9 MP IR camera with Windows Hello. It uses a 14-inch 2.8K (2,880 x 1,800) touch-enabled OLED panel with a peak brightness of 400 nits.
The spec sheet says both laptops will support the Intel Arc Graphics features, such as XeSS, shown off earlier this year. However, not all Meteor Lake-powered laptops will follow suit. The spec sheet says system requires at least 16 GB of dual-channel memory. This could lead to a lot of confusion for buyers, and one can hope that Intel clears up the mess before Meteor Lake-powered laptops hit shelves in December.
