This configuration has already seen a significant price reduction for Black Friday last year when it was selling for $899.99, and now, after just a few more months, Best Buy is offering it for only $699.99.

Besides featuring the efficient AMD Phoenix Ryzen 9 7940HS APU with 8 hyperthreading Zen 4 cores, Radeon 780M iGPU and XDNA AI accelerator, this Asus ROG Flow X13 packs 16 GB LPDDR5-6400 soldered RAM plus 512 GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage that can be upgraded. The 13.4-inch touchscreen is decent with 1920x1200 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 500 nit max brightness and 100% sRGB color gamut.

Port selection is particularly interesting since it provides a special ROG XG Mobile interface that allows it to connect to external dGPUs supplied by Asus. This interface is also linked to a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with DP 1.4 mode. Other ports include 1x USB4, another USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 with display and power delivery modes, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1 video output, audio jack and a microSD card reader.

Given the slim 0.74-inch profile, this model does not come with an Ethernet jack, but still features a speedy Wi-Fi 6E + BT 5.3 card for wireless connectivity. Other notable features are the 1080p webcam with IR sensor and the 75 Wh battery that brings the total weight to only 2.87 lbs. Best Buy is throwing in a 1-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, as well.
