Seagate announces that it is now prepared to market enterprise- and server-grade hard-drives with capacities of 16TB for the first time. The Exos X16 is a helium-based 7200rpm drive, whereas the IronWolf 16TB and IronWolf Pro 16TB are NAS drives. Tencent Cloud has already picked up X16s for use in its operation.

Once, rumors of a phone with the same internals as a 2018 Samsung flagship phone, but with a much different, ruggedized chassis, did the rounds. However, the OEM also eventually took it off the cards as a product. Now, a device with a similar model number and specs to the “S9 Active” has re-surfaced on Geekbench.

Lenovo released the Z6 Youth on May 22, 2019 to the Chinese market. As a Snapdragon 710 device with triple rear cameras and a 6.3-inch FHD screen, it may make a solid mid-ranger. A phone roughtly matching this description has been spotted with Thai marketing approval - however, it went under another name in this certification.

A new device called the OPPO CPH1925 (or A1s) has popped up on the websites of Russian, Thai and Indonesian regulatory bodies. Like the A1k before it, it has a 2.0GHz MediaTek processor, a 4000mAh battery and a 6.1 inch waterdrop-notch screen. However, this model improves on its pre-existing sibliing with a dual rear camera.

Likely 7-inch variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2019) visits FCC

A new Samsung tablet has gone through FCC validation, and may thus be released soon. Judging by its model number (SM-T295), it will probably be unveiled as a Galaxy Tab A (2019) at this event. The new certifier's listing also suggests that it will be a 7-inch version of the existing Tab A 10.1, with a 4980mAh battery.

Panasonic introduces a new LUMIX S-series camera, which, as it claims, "combines the video quality of a professional camera and the high mobility of a mirrorless camera". The PCIe 4.0 standard support combined with the Phison PS5016-E16 controller and Toshiba's BiCS4 96-layer 3D TLC NAND memory chips allow the Aorus NVMe PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSDs to reach sequential read and write speeds of 5 GB/s and 4.4 GB/s, respectively. TrendForce is claiming tight demand from major PC and smartphone OEMs for the resulting oversupply of NAND flash chips in the marketplace. The consequence is cheaper SSD prices that are expected to fall even further by year's end. Prices this year are already the lowest they've been for SSDs in general.

Sony IMX586 sensor and FHD AMOLED screen for Realme X confirmed

The X is Realme's next smartphone release. Previous leaks about this phone have suggested that it will have premium camera specs, in that its main sensor will be 48MP. This has been confirmed by its OEM ahead of its launch. Furthermore, the module in question will be the high-end Sony IMX586 that also graces the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

Images of a mystery smartphone have been shared on Twitter, with some tweeters immediately presuming they were gazing at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10 for the first time. Unfortunately, it was quickly revealed that the renders were not of the coveted phablet. In other Note 10 rumor news, the possibility of it coming with UFS 3.0 storage seems more likely.
