Nexon, Netmarble, and NextFloor are the companies facing fines totaling the equivalent of US$945,000. The fines were imposed because of an apparent lack of information offered by the firms involved.

Pictures of Asus' X470 portfolio have surfaced online. The X470 chipset brings support for the upcoming Ryzen 2 CPUs, which are based on the Zen+ microarchitecture. The Core i7-8750H offers the biggest leap in performance that the 45 W HQ-Series has seen in years. Its CineBench R15 Multi-Thread score of 1168 points is just 15 percent slower than a stock Core i7-8700K. Actual performance, however, will be highly dependent on the overarching cooling solution as we are able to record a score as low as 966 points on a pre-production MSI GS65 sample.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1170/1180 could arrive in July with 8/16 GB GDDR6 VRAM

According to SK Hynix, its GDDR6 memory chip production should begin in 3 months and this should coincide with Nvidia's announcement of the GTX 11 series of gaming GPUs. The whole next-gen series will benefit from the GDDR6 memory, with the GTX 1180 likely to integrate as much as 16 GB GDDR6 VRAM, and the GTX 1170 models getting only 8 GB.

The new free-to-play mobile RPG by FoxNext Games, Marvel Strike Force, pits the player's team against the alien warlord Ultimus and his Kree soldiers, who allied themselves with Hydra and AIM. The list of playable Marvel characters includes Spider-Man, Groot, Loki, Elektra, Hulk, Doctor Strange, and many others.

Business simulation Jurassic World Evolution gets a release date

British video-game developer Frontier Development has announced a release date for the upcoming game Jurassic World Evolution. The business simulation title will be available online from June 12, with physical copies of the game being made available from July 3. Jurassic World Evolution is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Time for The Incredibles to get a Lego video-game makeover

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has published a press release announcing the new video game Lego The Incredibles. An official announcement trailer, featuring the Parr family, Frozone and Edna Mode, has also been released. The game will be made available for the PC, Nintendo Switch, PS 4 and Xbox One in North America on June 15 – the same day that the Incredibles 2 movie is scheduled for release.

Nvidia has been sneaking in slower GeForce MX150 '1D12' variant onto some Ultrabooks

[March 28, 2018 update] Be on the lookout for notebooks shipping with the MX150 'N17S-LG-A1' or '1D12' variant as GPU performance can be 20 to 25 percent slower than a "standard" MX150. The '1D12' label is essentially the Max-Q version of the MX150 and Nvidia has not been explicitly distinguishing between the two distinct MX150 versions in any of its promotional material thus far.
