In heavy CPU workloads, the 9900K is noticeably better, but if the leak is legitimate, the CPU may not warrant an upgrade. AMD is planning to launch a 7 nm gaming GPU codenamed Arcturus some time in 2020, but before that, the red team needs to come up with a viable alternative to Nvidia's new Turing GPUs first. Rumor has it the Navi GPUs scheduled for next year are still on the GTX 1000-series level, but, since the RTX 2000-series is overpriced for now, AMD might have enough time to fine-tune the Navi cards and even push for more aggressive prices.

AMD has listed a couple new CPUs, the Ryzen 5 2600H and Ryzen 7 2800H. Both chips are definite upgrades over the Ryzen 5 2500U and Ryzen 7 2700U, respectively, but their 45 W nominal TDP suggests that they will be used in gaming laptops upon release. This is curious, as the onboard Vega GPUs are far outpaced by even entry-level gaming laptops.

Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti availability pushed back to September 27

The RTX 2080 Ti was supposed to be launched on September 20 together with the RTX 2080, but, it seems that Nvidia had some inventory problems and had postpone the RTX 2080 Ti availability by a whole week. For those who managed to pre-order this model before it went out of stock, shipping will still occur between September 20 and 27.

Nvidia RTX benchmarks come out on Final Fantasy XV benchmark; 2080Ti ~30% faster than 1080Ti

In the days leading up to the RTX series's review day, yet another leak has emerged on performance. The RTX 2080 and 2080Ti have been tested on Final Fantasy XV's built in benchmark.
