In what is set to be a titanic court battle, Epic Games massive hit game Fortnite has been banned from both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Both tech giants argue that Epic has violated their respective store policies and in response, Epic has launched a lawsuit against Apple alleging monopolistic and anti-competitive behavior.

An image from Spider-Man: Miles Morales published by Entertainment Weekly has been exciting PS5 fans because of its incredible details and appropriate visual generational difference from the graphics capabilities displayed in screenshots from the PS4’s Spider-Man, which in itself had praiseworthy visuals.

Redmi has officially revealed the latest laptop in its lineup: the Redmi G. The gaming laptop has featured in a few promo images, although no confirmed specifications have been offered up yet apart from that the Redmi G will be powered by Intel processors. Unfortunately, the Chinese OEM has fitted the laptop’s webcam in a suboptimal position.

Honor has confirmed last month's leak concerning its first gaming laptop. To be marketed under its Hunter brand, the laptop is supposedly inspired by the design of modern supercars. Presumably, Honor will deck out the laptop with AMD Renoir APUs, too.

Tipster @KOMACHI_ENSAKA claimed that internal AMD references to GCD and MCD likely refer to the “Graphics Complex Die” and “Memory Complex Die” of the purported Navi 31. These terms strongly indicate that Navi 31 (an upcoming RDNA 3 part) will likely be chiplet-based like Zen CPUs.

Many Samsung fans may have been disappointed to learn that the latest in the Galaxy Note lines were getting Exynos-powered SKUs in some markets via pre-launch leaks. Hands-on images of the PS5 DualSense controller have been published online, purportedly from the FCC. The Galaxy Note 20 and 20 Ultra 5G have been unveiled today (August 5, 2020) at the latest Galaxy Unpacked event. This series has turned out to conform to all its more recent leaks and rumors well. In fact, all Samsung really had to do was announce their pricing and availability.

Halo Infinite is one of the key Xbox Series X launch titles and it’s launch trailer left many long-time fans raising their eyebrows at its design aesthetic. Hisense has revealed its new Hardcore Gaming Monitor series at a trade show in China. The external monitor comes with a gaming-friendly 240 Hz refresh rate and features a curved display for increased immersion during intense gaming sessions. The Hisense Hardcore Gaming Monitor’s price hasn’t been announced yet.

Xiaomi could be offering a new GPU Turbo app in the upcoming Mi 10 Pro Plus that offers more fine-grained control over several aspects of the GPU including adjusting anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering levels among others. The Mi 10 Pro Plus powered by the Snapdragon 865 Plus is an incremental upgrade to the Mi 10 Pro, but it is not clear whether these GPU features would make to the entire Mi 10 lineup.

Statistics from the first 10 days of Ghost of Tsushima’s release have been revealed by PlayStation and there’s no doubt the PS4 title has become a massive hit with gamers. In terms of action, there were 156.4 million standoffs and 57.5 million duels, while players also engaged in a lot of fox petting, haiku writing, flute playing, and shrine visiting.

The new Black Shark gaming phone has been released. The Black Shark 3S succeeds the Black Shark 3, and offers improvements in fast-charging and display technologies, while starting under US$600. Sadly, it retains the Snapdragon 865 instead of the new Snapdragon 865 Plus.

A newly published patent has hinted at the possibility of a PS5 Pro console, or similar, eventually being revealed by Sony. A “high end” system mentioned in the patent summary could feature multiple SoCs. Coincidentally, it appears the Xbox Series X has been demoted from being “the most powerful console ever”.
