Hisense Hardcore Gaming Monitor unveiled with curved display and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive-friendly 240 Hz refresh rate

The Universal Display Expo (UDE) has just taken place in Shanghai, and the event gave Hisense the opportunity to show off a new addition to its product lineup in the form of the Hardcore Gaming Monitor. The device comes with a curved display and a few revealed specifications that justify its somewhat presumptive name.

For instance, you would expect a Hardcore Gaming Monitor to offer up high refresh rates and super fast response times, and it appears the Hisense monitor can live up to that. There is the aforementioned 240 Hz refresh rate and apparently there is a 1 ms response time. Additionally, the Hisense Hardcore Gaming Monitor has a 2K resolution and the curvature of the display is measured at 1000R.

The external monitor has been put through its paces by fans of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and it seems that the Hisense Hardcore Gaming Monitor is going to be the official monitor of a nationwide competition involving the popular first-person shooter. No price, release date, or full datasheet has been revealed for the peripheral yet, but it certainly looks the business.
