Dell's Alienware Aurora line of gaming PCs can now be configured with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 and RTX 3080. Everything else remains the same, including its aesthetic, choice of CPUs, and memory configurations. Dell will reveal its price and availability at a later date.

Dell has unveiled a refreshed version of its Alienware m17 R3 gaming laptop. It bumps up the refresh rate of its 17-inch FHD panel from 300Hz to 360Hz. There are also some improvements to the notebook's cooling system. However, Dell will reveal the laptop's price and availability later this month.

Dell has announced its new Alienware gaming monitors. This series has 25- and 27-inch flat variants, although its flagship is a 38-inch curved option. Dell asserts that this "best-in-class gaming monitor" will enhance immersion and quality, with the latest certifications from NVIDIA and VESA to boot.

Today (September 1, 2020), Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G for a number of markets worldwide, Germany included. This means we finally get to find out how the premium device is priced in various different regions. The new foldable has a recommended price of over €1900, in one European country at least.

Realme has unveiled the eye-catching new X7 series of smartphones today (September 1, 2020) today during a virtual event in China. This launch also introduced a new member of the V line, which is also powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. However, its specs allow for pricing that starts at just 999 yuan (~US$146).

Realme has now launched its two newest devices, the Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro. Both devices are powered by MediaTek 5G chipsets, with the Realme X7's Dimensity 800U matching the Snapdragon 765G and the Realme X7 Pro's Dimensity 1000+ trading blows with the Snapdragon 855.

The ZenBook Flip 13 is now configurable with the Intel Core i5-1035G1 and Core i7-1065G7 Ice Lake CPUs. It can be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of solid-state storage. Prices start at US$899 for the base version. Both notebooks will be available for purchase in the United States on September 16.

Qualcomm has lifted the veil off its newest mid-ranger. The Snapdragon 732G comes with two high-performance Kyro 470 Gold cores, six Kyro 470 Silver cores, and an overclocked Adreno 618 GPU. It is billed to debut alongside a Poco phone, which is very likely the Poco X3.

Lenovo has announced the launch of the Legion Slim 7i laptop. The Legion Slim 7i offers configuration options up to the Core i9-10980HK and the RTX 2060 Max-Q and is touted to be the lightest 15.6-inch gaming laptop to offer this configuration. The Legion Slim 7i also features the recently introduced Coldfront 2.0 cooling solution and an optional Corsair RGB keyboard with 1.3 mm key travel.

The Galaxy M51 has finally been confirmed as a smartphone that is soon to be released. It is now avaialble to pre-order, albeit only via Samsung's German website. However, it is also currently being teased on Amazon India, suggesting that it will launch very soon on that platform. One of its new campaigns confirm the phone's 7000mAh battery spec.

Samsung has launched its 980 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD that offers a maximum read speed of 7,000 MB/s (1 TB SKU). This means that PC gamers can fit a speedy solid state drive into their machines that challenges the much-heralded superfast SSD that the PS5 will be bringing with it, at least in terms of uncompressed data handling.

The new Huami Amazfit Neo smartwatch has appeared online for sale. The latest wearable from Huami comes with a 24/7 always-on display, heart-rate and sleep monitoring, water resistance to 5 ATM, and up to 28-day battery life. The rugged-looking Amazfit Neo can be purchased at a discount price of US$39.99 by using coupons.

The new Tuxedo Pulse 14 among the few Renoir-H ultrabooks available now for pre-order. It is very similar to the Pulse 15 version, except it weighs only 1 Kg and obviously gets a 14-inch screen, plus it comes with a smaller battery. Otherwise, users can still choose between the Ryzen 5 4600H and Ryzen 7 4800H APU options, and may add up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM along with up to 2 TB of SATA III or NVMe SSD storage.

NEC's latest 13.3-inch ultrabooks weigh only 814 g with an L battery or 868 g with an LL battery. Even so, the bigger batteries are still able to last up to 24 h (15 h for the smaller ones), and both can be charged up to 80% in one hour. The ultrabooks can be powered by either an i5-10210U or an i7-10510U CP coupled with up to 16 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and up to 512 GB NVMe SSD storage.

The hybrid design that combines metal with soft textured materials help the chassis weigh in at only 2.9 lbs. Spec-wise, this model is not as impressive as the Yoga Slim 7 Pro, and the prices clearly reflect this. Still, users can equip the 13.3-inch Yoga 6 with up to a Ryzen 7 4700U coupled with up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 1 TB of NVMe SSD storage.

AMD has released the full specifications and details of the A520 chipset, which will be using the AM4 socket. The company has also mentioned that it will be compatible with the Zen 3 architecture going forward, as well as with current Ryzen 3000 desktop APUs. It can also use PCIe 3.0 lanes and supports 5 USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports.

The Dimensity 800U is MediaTek's newest 5G-ready SoC. It comes with two Cortex-A76 cores (2.4GHz), six Cortex-A55 cores (2.0Ghz,) and an ARM Mali-G57 GPU. Other features include support for 120Hz HDR 10+ displays, sub-6GHz SA and NSA 5G networks, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage.

On the occasion of Architecture Day, Intel delved into the underpinnings of the Willow Cove architecture that is set to debut with the Tiger Lake CPUs next month. Willow Cove will use Intel's new SuperFin process technology and will offer a much higher dynamic range in the voltage-frequency curve along with improvements to display and memory. Intel also confirmed the arrival of Alder Lake hybrid performance processors in 2021.

Two months after unveiling the U20 5G and Desire 20 Pro, HTC has finally released the Desire 20 Pro. The mid-range phone is now available for purchase in Europe and is priced below the Pixel 4a and Xperia 10 II, although it has to be said that it's also a lot less impressive than those two.

Xiaomi has just revealed the new Ninebot GoKart Pro Lamborghini Edition with yellow coloring, rear spoiler, and custom tires. The Lamborghini Edition of the Ninebot GoKart Pro can manage a top speed of 40 km/h (~25 mph), comes with a 432 Wh battery pack, and it will apparently go on sale with a price tag of 9,999 yuan (US$1,440).

After months of speculations and leaks, we finally have our first look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+. Both tablets offer a host of exciting features and are powered by Qualcomm's newest silicon. The former will retail at US$650, while the latter will set you back by US$850. They will be available for purchase starting August 20.

The new 4K Asus ROG gaming monitors come in 43-inch, 32-inch and 27-inch sizes, plus they offer full 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 connections, unlike some TV brands that limit speeds to 40 Gbps. VRR up to 120 Hz and ALLM are also included, together with HDR. Pricing info is still unknown.

Today (August 3, 2020) Google has ushered the Pixel 4a onto its Store website as its newest phone. This 5.81-inch FHD+ display device has just 1 SKU, although its RAM/storage specs are improved compared to its predecessor's starter variant. It is available as an unlocked device for under US$400, or through Verizon on a 24-month contract.

Xiaomi has announced a special event coming up soon, and a tip from a noted leaker has suggested that the popular Chinese OEM will use the moment as an opportunity to reveal some new smartphones. The Xiaomi Mi Pro+ (Super Cup) is a likely candidate, and the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2020 has also been put forward for a potential reveal.

The notebook is available for purchase on all major e-commerce websites like Flipkart and Amazon.

The Honor Magicbook 15 laptop is now available for purchase in India. The notebook features an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U CPU with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of solid-state storage, and a Radeon Vega 8 GPU. It will be available on Flipkart starting August 3 for INR 42,999 (US$574).

Nubia announced the new RedMagic 5S gaming smartphone at the ChinaJoy event earlier this week. The RedMagic 5S sports identical hardware as the RedMagic 5G but comes with a few enhancements such as a slightly higher sampling rate for the shoulder triggers and a dedication optional Ice Dock accessory. The phone will be available in China from August 1 with a global launch planned sometime in September.

Asus has released refreshed versions of the ZenBook 13, ZenBook 14, VivoBook S14, and VivoBook Ultra K14 in India. Both ZenBooks come with Ice Lake CPUs, while the VivoBooks feature Comet Lake processors. The ZenBooks will retail at 79,990 (US$1,068), while the VivoBook Ultra K14 and VivoBook S14 cost INR 39,990 (US$534) and INR 67,990 (US$907), respectively.

Huawei has officially launched its new TalkBand B6 fitness tracker and Bluetooth headset combination wearable. Three editions of the Huawei TalkBand B6 have been released, with prices starting at 999 yuan (US$143). The versatile gadget comes with a blood oxygen monitor, Kirin A1 chip, Bluetooth 5.2, and heart-rate monitor.

The Huawei TalkBand B6 wearable has become the chief suspect for a teased product launch by the popular Chinese OEM. Although the promo image doesn’t specify what device is being marketed, the curved display certainly points to the TalkBand B6 fitness tracker and Bluetooth headset. A launch date of July 30 is also mentioned.

Qualcomm's new Quick Charge 5 specification and hardware supports 100W charging for rates up to four times faster than the previous Quick Charge 4 specification at 1.7 times the efficiency. Supported by the Snapdragon 865 and 865+ as long as the phone has the required PMIC hardware.

Redmi has been teasing a new upcoming smartphone launch for the Indian market, which seems more than likely to be the Redmi 9 device. The budget smartphone from Xiaomi is packed with decent features considering its affordable price point, including an octa-core processor and the Android 10-based MIUI 11 overlay.

The partnership between Slimbook, the Spanish laptop brand, and the opensource KDE project continues with the new KDE Slimbook III. Slimbook has chosen an OEM design that manages to fit H-series Ryzen 4000 processors into a thin and light 14-inch chassis.

Dell has launched the Alienware M15 R3, G5 15 Special Edition, G5 15, and G3 15 gaming laptops in India. The laptops can be configured with a variety of Intel and AMD hardware. The Alienware M15 R3's price starts at a whopping INR 1,99,990 (US$2,673), while the Dell G5 15 Special Edition retails at INR 74,990 (US$1000). Similarly, Dell G5 15 costs INR 82,590 (US$1,103), and the Dell G3 15 will set you back by INR 73,990 (US$ 998)

MediaTek has released a new 5G-ready SoC called the Dimensity 720. It consists of two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.0GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores and an ARM Mali-G57 GPU. The chip supports two carrier aggregation and sub-6GHz 5G networks. We can expect to see it debut alongside some mid-rangers later this year.

HP has released the Omen 15 and HP Pavilion Gaming 16 gaming laptops in India. Both notebooks can be configured with 10th-generation Intel chips and a wide array of Nvidia GeForce graphics cards. The HP Pavilion Gaming 16's price starts at INR 59,999 (US$ 804) and the Omen 15's at INR 75,999 (US$1,019).

AMD has now officially unveiled the Ryzen 4000 APU series for pre-built OEM desktops across consumer and commercial segments. The Ryzen 4000G APUs sport the exact same configuration as their mobile counterparts but feature additional TDP headroom that allows for higher CPU and GPU clocks. AMD is pitting the Ryzen 7 4700G against the likes of the Core i7-9700 and claims that it has managed to slam dunk the competition.

The premium appearance of the 13-inch Chuwi CoreBook Pro is hiding some dated specs, but at least the price seems fair. Surprisingly enough, this model integrates a quality 3:2 IPS screen with 2160 x 1440 resolution and 100% sRGB color gamut, but apart from this, the hardware specs are so 2016, with an Intel Core i3-6157U CPU, 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and 256 GB SSD.
