The new A13 Bionic is still a hexa-core CPU chip, but, thanks to TSMC's latest 7 nm EUV manufacturing process, this SoC now integrates 8.5 billion transistors. It also features a new quad-core GPU plus an octa-core NPU, and all of its components are on average 20% faster and 30% less power-demanding compared to the previous version.

It looks like the first next gen Surface model was already tested back in June, but the results were spotted only recently. According to the Geekbench report, the upcoming Surface is powered by an Intel Ice Lake i5-1035G1 quad-core CPU with UHD Graphics iGPU coupled with 8 GB of RAM, and the scores appear to be similar to devices powered by equivalent Ryzen 3 ULV CPUs.

MSI launches Prestige PS341WU 34-inch HDR600 5K monitor, costs the same as the Apple stand after rebates

Although well-known for its curvy LED-heavy gaming monitors, MSI wants to prove that it can still design sleek no-frills monitors for professionals, too. The 34-inch Prestige PS341WU is expected to ship on September 16 with a $200 promotional rebate lasting from now until September 29.

ProtonMail is not becoming Huawei's new email client

Contrary to a recent report by Bloomberg, ProtonMail will not be preloaded on future Huawei smartphones. Instead, the Swiss company is considering bringing its email client to Android app stores other than the Google Play Store, including the Samsung Galaxy Store, Amazon App store and the Huawei AppGallery.

OnePlus reveals carbon-fiber backing for its TV, among other specs

A OnePlus executive has been spilling more details on its first-gen smart TV, in order to build hype ahead of its launch. The latest of these hints is that its back panel will be finished in a carbon-fiber effect. It will also support Dolby Vision and have a dedicated image processor.
