Trypophobia rears its unholy head once more thanks to the Apple iPhone 11 Pro and its rear triple camera system
People suffering from trypophobia have been posting negative comments on social media about the new iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max due to their rear main camera arrangements. It wasn’t that long ago that another flagship smartphone was causing unease in the trypophobia community, with HMD Global thoroughly upsetting sufferers due to its Nokia 9 PureView’s penta-lens pattern.

Yet another smartphone has been causing distress to those afflicted by trypophobia, which is a currently officially unrecognized but seemingly widespread condition that is caused by the sight of clusters of small holes or bumps, such as those found in honeycomb and certain plants. The devices at fault this time are the Apple iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
The condition is quite a serious one, with sufferers feeling strong senses of disgust and aversion to the unholy holey patterns. Social network influencers such as PewDiePie and Kendall Jenner have spoken out about their own experiences with trypophobia, and it’s unlikely the latter will be hawking the Pro models of the iPhone 11 on her Instagram account anytime soon.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has also been considered a “no-go” for trypophobics, and it looks like the Google Pixel 4 with its similar design to the iPhone 11 will be widely circumvented by those that can’t stand the sight of the cluttered camera cluster.
