Qualcomm launches the new RB5 platform for next-gen robotics

Qualcomm has unveiled the RB5 platform, aimed at the consumer- and enterprise-grade robotic devices of the future. To this end, it is based on the QRB5165 processor, which can handle the imaging sensors, digital signals, machine learning and AI capabilities expected of these machines. It also supports up-to-date connectivity, 5G included.

Snapdragon 865 Plus-powered iQOO 3 Pro gaming smartphone reportedly in the works

Vivo's sub-brand iQOO is reportedly working on a gaming smartphone that will feature Qualcomm's yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC. The phone will come with a 6.5-inch 90Hz AMOLED panel, a 4,500mAh battery that can be charged in 30 minutes, and more. Prices are expected to start at CNY 3998 ($565) for the entry-level version.
