OPPO launches the Find X2 in India, but where are the Pro variants?

OPPO has been rumored to launch its 2020 flagship phone line in India for a short while. The OEM has followed through and has unveiled this series in this country today (June 17, 2020). This presentation involved the SKU of this phone that will be available in the market and how much it will cost.

The vanilla Find X2 also has X2 Pro and X2 Pro Lamborghini Edition variants. They were reportedly all showcased at its most recent launch event, their differences (and extra accessories in the case of the Lamborghini-themed version) included. In fact, by at least 1 account, the phones' original launch webcast was simply re-played for this new audience.

Furthermore, the OEM responded to queries from the media outlet Tech2 to confirm that the X2 is the only new phone that will be sold in India after the event. Nevertheless, this device remains a high-powered and well-spec'd handset.

It boasts the Snapdragon 865 processor, a QHD+ 120Hz screen and 12GB of RAM. The plain X2 also has a triple camera with a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 13MP telephoto lens and a 48MP main shooter.

The Find X2 will be available in its ceramic- and glass-backed options, which are black and blue respectively. It will start at INR 64990 (about US$853) and will be available from June 27, 2020. However, the OEM failed to mention where this new option for the Indian premium smartphone space will be sold during its launch.
