A new leak appears to confirm the OPPO Find X2's looks and camera count
OPPO has announced that it will resurrect its flagship Find X line of phones later in March 2020. Its first generation had a ground-breaking motorized slider, which made it stand out among 2018 premium phones due to its complete lack of notch. However, a recent leak indicates that its successor will not follow in it unconventional footsteps.
Furthermore, the latest tip on this subject suggests the same. Roland Quandt, a correspondent for the reliable predictions site WinFuture, has just posted a new set of images that match the last to be associated with the Find X closely. It shows a phone with a single in-display camera in the upper left corner and a triple rear camera in a pill-like module on the back.
Therefore, it seems the second Find X will not come even close to breaking the mold on its release. In addition, a total of just 4 cameras might be very slightly disappointing in this day and age. However, 1 of the main sensors is rumored to be a brand-new component from Sony: an IMX689, which has been developed in collaboration with OPPO itself.
Then again, this will be confirmed at the phone's launch in 2 days from now (March 4, 2020), in an event that may also reveal its first-gen Watch to the world. In other OPPO news, the Reno3 Pro has launched in India. This fresh variant runs on the equally new MediaTek Helio P95 SoC, which means there is no 5G connectivity here. However, this version also features the stand-out dual 44+2MP punch-hole camera version teased by the brand earlier.
