The Realme 6 smartphone series is to feature 64MP cameras, 90Hz screens and 30W charging
Realme has hinted that the successors to the 5 and 5 Pro will have attractive specs such as a 90Hz refresh rate and 64MP sensors. This is in line with their preview page on the OEM's Indian site. However, based on many of these images, the higher end of the specs teased thereon might be destined for the Pro variant only.
Similarly, the 6 Pro apparently has a dual punch-hole selfie camera, whereas the 6 has a single one. However, both of them might have the 30W VOOC charging supplied by Realme's former parent OPPO. The prominent Weibo leaker DigitalChatStation has also shared images that point to an original rear-panel design for the 2 variants.
The supposed renders show that these backs will reflect light in such a way that a kind of lightning-flash pattern appears. This may be available in purple, brownish and blue shades in the Realme 6 and 6 Pro. They will be launched on March 5, 2020. However, prior to that, the company has arranged what it calls a "blind order" for the 2 phones.
It involves paying an INR 1000 (~US$14) deposit to guarantee the customer will be able to complete an online sale for the phone. This reservation fee can be put down from now until March 4, 2020, whereupon the buyer pays the rest of the balance for either new model. These full prices are said to start at INR 10000 (~$140) for the 6.
