Realme has unveiled the Android 10 update for Realme 5 Pro and Realme X. It is based on Realme UI and brings forth some new features such as Smart Sidebar, three-finger screenshot, Focus Mode, and more. Users can expect to receive the update in the coming week, as it is a staged rollout.

Ever since its inception in 2018, Realme has released a barrage of devices. The company's offerings range between low-cost options such as the Realme 5i and affordable flagships like the Realme X50 Pro. Due to the sheer volume of devices that are out there, some phones receive software updates after others. Now, its the Realme X and Realme 5 Pro's turn to get their highly-awaited Android 10 update.

Realme X and Realme 5 Pro users will get the software in the form of Realme UI, which is the company's in-house Android fork based on Oppo's Color OS. It brings forth all Android 10 features such as Digital Wellbeing stats, enhanced privacy settings, and more. There are also some Realme-specific changes such as Smart Sidebar, bubbles, three-finger screenshot, Focus Mode, new wallpapers, and more. The build version is RMX1901EX_11_C.01 for the Realme X and RMX1971EX_11_C.01 for the Realme 5 Pro.

Both devices should receive the update starting today. Realme states that this is a staged rollout, so it could take a while before all Realme X and Realme 5 users get it. And no, you can't sideload it as the firmware has not been uploaded to Realme's website yet. You can also head over to the phone's Settings app, navigate to Software Update and tap on Check for Update to manually trigger it.
