Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro are Realme's latest mid-range offerings for the India market. Both phones come with impressive specs such as a 90Hz screen, a 4,300mAh battery that can be charged at 30W, a quad-camera array at the back and more. Realme 6 is priced at Rs. 12,999($178) for the base variant, and the Realme 6 Pro at Rs. 16,999($233) for the entry-level option.

Ever since its entry into India, Realme has released a barrage of devices into the market. It unveiled India's first 5G-ready smartphone in the form of the Realme X50 Pro only a few days ago, and now, the company has unveiled two new mid-rangers- Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro.

Realme states that Realme 6 is the successor to the Realme 5 Pro and the Realme 6 Pro to the Realme X. Both phones will come with a 90Hz refresh rate screen, something that is becoming increasingly common in modern-day phones. Additionally, they will also use the same 4,300 mAh battery that supports wired charging at up to 30W. Realme has also thrown in a side-mounted fingerprint scanner in the mix. Lastly, both smartphones will run Android 10 customized with Realme UI on top. The primary differences between the two lie in their SoC and camera setup. Let's take a look at them.

Realme 6 comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel. A MediaTek Helio G90T powers it. The primary camera array consists of a 64MP primary sensor assisted by 8MP Ultrawide lens, a 2MP portrait lens 2MP macro lens. There's 16MP selfie shooter at the front.

Realme 6 Pro features a slightly larger 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel. It has two front-facing cameras, one of which is a 16MP sensor plus an 8MP ultrawide lens. The rear camera setup has a 64MP unit, plus a 12 MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro lens. Unlike the Realme 6 Pro's MediaTek offering, this phone is powered by a Snapdragon 720G SoC. The Realme 6 Pro also comes with ultra-linear speakers, Dolby Atmos certification, and support for ISRO's NavIC satellite for more precise navigation.

Realme 6 will retail at Rs. 12,999($177) for the base model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. 128GB of storage with the same amount of RAM will set you back by Rs. 13,999($191). The specced-out version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will cost Rs. 14,999($204). The phone will be available for purchase starting March 11 at noon. It will be available Flipkart, Realme's official website, and offline stores.

Realme 6 Pro, on the other hand, will start at Rs. 16,999($232) for the base model, which has the same configuration as the Realme 6. Higher-specced models will set you back by Rs. 17,999($245) and Rs. 18,999($259), respectively.
